Let’s clear some things up. Marissa is still working as a legitimate massage therapist and still advertising on Kijiji sometimes. She doesn’t use the name Poca anymore because of threads like this. She won’t see old clients who know her as Poca anymore because of threads like this. Threads like this are making her life a nightmare. Everyday she deals with guys harassing her with texts about extras. When they don’t do it in texts, some of them wait until they’re on her table and then ask her, or try to touch her, or even begin touching themselves in front of her… you get the picture. All this despite clearly stating in her ads and in personal texts that unprofessional services are not offered.

I’ve known her for over a year now. First as a client and now as a close, personal friend. In that entire time, I’ve never known her to offer extras, no matter how clean, respectful, polite, handsome, charming or pockets overflowing with money and tips the person is. That’s not who she is now. She is a devoted, passionate Christian who tries her best to live an honest and righteous life.

If she ever did anything in the past to substantiate threads like this, it was probably done out of personal and financial desperation because she couldn’t see another way around a difficult situation she was facing at the time. If she ever did that before I knew her, I certainly wouldn’t let that brand her now, because the person I know doesn’t put money before her morals. But if she ever did that before, then fine. You might consider that before making any posts about her in the future, texting her about things she has nothing to do with, or terrifying her in person with harassment and threats of violence when she doesn’t do what she clearly advertises she does not do. Because that’s what it’s come to at this point. Each new post about her makes it more difficult for her to pay her bills, feed herself and take care of her family. Please move on from this. Please let her live and earn a living with the peace, security and dignity she deserves. Just be the decent men you would want your sons to be and treat her like you’d want your sisters and daughters to be treated.
