I e-mailed Sampson's ex-wife last week wanting to know the latest on Sampson's bail, and she responded with this e-mail back to me and a few other guys asking the same questions.

It's rather sad that she only collected less than $1000 dollars. No wonder why Sampson can't make the $9000 dollar bail and is still stuck in that hell hole the Mexican prison. However, Silexdawg, owner of VivaMexSpa, was also collecting money for Sampson's legal defend, however I don't know how much money was raised there, but if I were to guess not enough? Hopefully the fund raising will get better, since Silexdawg, is the new owner of that other site that talks about TJ the majority of the time, and Sampson is better known there.{ BTW I had long suspected VivaMexSpa might have had a invisible hand shaping polices on other sites, it was also strongly rumored that Sampson acting alone or with friends, tried to buy a Tijuana site, but his offer was rejected; the offer wasn't very high.}

Lets hope Sampson gets out of jail on bail, no matter what your opinion on Sampson or pimping, I'm sure you'll agree, nobody should rot away in a Tijuana prison, with those horrible conditions.

I got an excel report with names, dates, email, etc. if needed. Got a msg from Dennis last nite thru the attorney. He's desperate, to say the least and said the same thing: He's surviving in a 6-person jail packed with 25 men. He says his legs are sore, can't sleep at nite on the floor, got a rash all over, and just plain desperate to get out.

What really got me is that I just did learn that the clothes Maria bought for him 2 weeks ago, were returned to Carolina yesterday; really upsetting when the attorney had told me Den had gotten them. Confronted him last nite and he said he paid a guard to get those to Den, and that he's gonna find out what happened. Really sad and discouraging.

Anyways, we are hoping to hear the last word again about bail reduction on Monday and Tuesday. Carolina has not been able to see him neither. Now she needs a notarized letter. Frustraiting and discouraging. I'm hoping he'll be able to call me soon. I'm really hoping this will be his last week there. Sadly, I probably fit the above description although I prefer to describe myself as a "mature, portly gentleman." I was stopped once while driving with my 22 year old civilian gf. The cops immediately slip us up and asked a lot of questions. (I knew her name, but she can't pronounce my last name and calls me by the approximate Spanish translation of my first name.)

After the cops decided they couldn't make a case for my gf being a puta they tried a different tactic to get a bribe. They told me I'd have to follow them to the police station and pay a fine on a bs traffic violation. I politely refused and told them the law says they have to write me a ticket. They told me I was wrong; I replied that is what the website for the Municipality of Tijuana says. This went on for 15-20 minutes until they finally let me go with warning.

On another occasion they actually took me to the police station at 8th and Constitution. I kept politely saying I was innocent and asking to see a judge. In time they let me go when it became clear (1) they didn't have a case, and (2) I wasn't going to pay a bribe.

If, however, I'd been guilty of something then I'd would have tried to cut a deal. The night they took me to the police station I'd probably have cut a deal if I'd been in a hurry to get home.

Anybody could have flagged Sampson's CL ads, even I was a suspect at one time as I understand? I think some of those San Diego's own prostitutes who advertise on CL turned Sampson in, as some of those girls had pimps too who would gladly do it.

One thing that no one seems to believe is that the whole thing was just for publicity. When I say that, I don't mean that I was part of the scam....but I am just a pawn that they used to get publicity to "show Mexico City" that they are working. This happened right after they got their guns back and the Federales left town.

If it was a real investigation:

1) The municipal police would not have made the arrest

2) They would have conducted themselves in a manner to get a conviction.


Since the Municipal police can not do investigations, they tried to cover that up by saying a "concerned citizen" reported an arguement on the corner...
Then they found me arguing with the 4 girls and the girls started screaming that they were forced into prostitution and I was there boss.

Now the truth is that they detained the 4 chicas, and then arrested me about 1 1/2 hours later...I was nowhere near the chicas....Now if these arresting officers were doing their job and responding to a complaint about an arguement, why did they bring three cars full of newspaper and television reporters with cameras? I would disagree with some of these guys warnings not to use Sampson. I would whole-heartedly recommend Sampson's escort service to anyone.
