I always said the mongers that visited Tijuana were overly cautious as they fear the TJ police a great deal even if they did nothing wrong.

i seriously doubt that the TJ police were put up a sting operation to bust escorts and the customers near the border, especially in light over the on going debate if prostitution is indeed illegal in Tijuana in and outside the zone of tolerance, as there is very little information on the net or the penal codes in Mexico, however it's pretty well established the girl will get busted for not having a 'health card' a health code violation, and the mongers will be told it's illegal and get shaken down, theres plenty of cases where mongers have been caught with prostitutes outside and zona and paid bribes but no cases where they were brought before a judge.

I understand that Sampson is going to have a 'Bail reduction' hearing on Monday, if true, that's good news, especially if they lower the bail. As Sampson could be free like ' The Dog the Bounty Hunter' but who still faces extradition back to Mexico. { if it was me I'd never go back, but the 'Dog' is high profile.) I wonder how the bail system in Mexico works, if they keep everything if you don't show back up, and give you back 90% of your money if you do?

Well lets just wait and see, Sampson could be out and back on the computer by tomorrow, hopefully with a few girls supporting him, and if he is not, I'd say it then looks really bad for him as a Mexican prison isn't a good place for an American Gringo.

Well, let me say, that I am greatful for those who helped big or small, as without the help of so many generous people, I may have been in much longer. I think the case should have been over in less than 6 months, but who would have guessed the police would not send anyone for the first two attempts to testify(maybe 3 as I cannot remember)....they finally sent a couple of kids(22 and 23) as I guess that is part of being new...had to go testify in a case they were not involved in to hide the identity of the dirty cops..

At this point I was shocked to hear I must go back on November 8 as on September 19 I was told the trial was concluded.. Now the judge can take her time on rendering a verdict, but one witness for the prosecution never showed up, and I understand this "added" date is to give that person one last chance to show...I don't think anyone will show, and my lawyer feels that this will be the end of the trial, and maybe we will have a November verdict.

I will be sure and post after November 8, and of course when I get my verdict.

I believe your sincerity on paying back CJ, TJT, Fucktor Choi, et. all, but returning to the Escort business is insane.

A lot of guys are running scared. But there are no reports of anybody else being arrested, investigated by LE, etc.

Personally I'd avoid any of the escorts who were arrested. Their relationship with the cops is too "cozy" for my tastes, although I must repeat there are no reports of any monger having had problems with the cops while seeing an escort, going to an MP, visiting a bar outside the ZN, etc.

I have not heard, nor read of, any subsequent arrests.

One of the other operators of a 'somewhat large' escort service has announced that he's back to "business as usual" after "laying low" for more than a week following sampson's arrest.

Well the police shouldn't have to interpret anything...it would be up to the courts interpretation....as the arresting officers..the municipal police are not suppose to do investigations or work under cover...only respond to crimes they visualize or that are reported such as a fight, robbery, or domestic dispute...

Without going into great detail, the judge keeps bail receipts until the trial is over...the bottom line is I owe him the money that he put up, and it doesn't matter who has the receipt, I still owe him...if the money is not returned, I still owe him....

The money at Viva Mex was not lost even for one day...it was locked in a safe, so it would not be lost.

You are right in that six months what most people thought. You're also right that is what I both said and posted. And you're right that was what the attorney was saying.

It wasn't until the day that bail was actually posted that the attorney said the case could draw out for up to two years. However, he still thought it would probably take six months when bail was posted.


You are right that a lot of TJA threads were. I wasn't the one deleting them. If you remember some of my threads were deleted--including the one I posted for Theresa requesting donations.




That was poorly written--I was refereing the a donation that would put things "over the top". I didn't mean that nobody had contributed to the bail fund as many had made donatations in the $20.00-$100.00 range. What I meant was several people had indicated they were willing to make a large donation of $1000.00+ dollars but were not willing to make a large donation until most of the money had been raised. When CJ stepped forward only about half of what was needed had been raised.


You are right that Theresa began fund raising long before CJ came forward. She forwarded the money she raised to TJTaxi which when combined with the money from Dr. Choi came to around $2600.00 which was in a bank in San Diego. I had collected $1000.00 at the same time (which was in my apartment in TJ). There was a lot of misunderstanding of when and where to meet that day (in part because the US was on daylight savings time and TJ wasn't.) I was in Tijuana and TJTaxi was in San Diego. TjTaxi wanted me to call him when CJ showed up and tell him how much money CJ had. Nobody knew exactily who had how much money; we were expecting CJ to arrive with at least $4000.00 If CJ was a little "short" I think TJTaxi would have kicked the money to cover the shoreforum.xxxe. Also he like I didn't want to be running around TJ with large sums of money in our pocket.

Country John arrived with $9000.00, enough to pay the entire bail. So TJTaix left the money Theresa had sent him in the bank and drove straight to Tijuana. The three of us then went to Sampson's attorney and the four of us then went to post bail. It wasn't until several days later that TjTaxi gave the money Theresa has sent him to CJ. The same is true with the money I had received for Sampson's bail.

So, yes money had been raised for Sampson's bail before Country John posted bail. However, that money didn't acutally reach CJ until after he'd posted bail.

The first part of burt's "fourth comment" is consistent with my understanding of the comitments made by people actively soliciting donations on sampson's behalf.

The last part of burt's comment comes as a complete surprise to me.
I recall no one bringing forth the attorney's (nor anyone elses's) estimation that the case could take up to two years.

While no one was in a position to give a precise estimate of the time that it would take for this case to be adjudicated, I recall reading countless postings from sampson indicating his attorney was placing a six-month estimation.

burt, I guess if you heard "two years" as another estimation of by sampson's attorney, you chose not to provide it in the many many postings you made in this matter.
These statements by fireballs are completely true.
I believe that burt, via his moderator priviledges, exerted enormous control over what information was allowed to remain posted.

Teresa was receiving donations weeks before CJ made his public offer to bail out sampson.

When Teresa made (what I believe was her first) public pleas for bail money I answered her request that very same day by depositing money in her B of A account of $27 plus some change. Teresa made the public request just a few days after sampson's incarceration in early February. As I recall, CJ didn't step up and get involved publicly until after sampson had been in jail for over 4 weeks.

Right after CJ made his generous offer to post sampson's bail, I was solicited for another donation privately by a monger that was working with both Teresa and (now) CJ. I made another deposit into Teresa's account of $50.03 on 3/15/2007 and advised the soliciting monger of the exact dates and exact amounts of both my contributions to sampson's cause.

It was two or three days AFTER my SECOND contribution directly to Teresa that sampson was bailed out with CJ's assistance.

Country John posted the entire bail amont; Without CJ Sampson would still be in jail. Several guys were willing to make a donation that would put the fund "over the top" but nobody was willing to be first to open his wallet. The money CJ received--now over half the total bail amount--all reached him "after the fact."


Very, very true. First they were complaining that Sampson hadn't bailed out his secretary. When he did that none of them said, "Good going." After the bail money is returned they'll find something else to complain about.

I been following this saga from day one and in fact started this thread over on this site because the TJ site with a lot of Sampson's so-called friends refused to write about his case, and when they did wrote about it they did it in such a way that "Pravda" Russia"s propaganda news would be envious, and this method or reporting the news was largely the efforts of Burt, where only News articles that were deemed accurate would be printed, and after that the thread would be locked. It turns out many of these guys were just scared of their own ass as they believed the FBI was somehow going to go after them. In my opinion the friends of Sampson at the other site didn't do enough to help him until weeks later when they finally realized nobody was coming for them.

If you ask me the fund raising efforts was largely the work of Country John, because previous to this it wasn't going nowhere where maybe they raised a combined $1500. I don't recall Burt being that active in the fund raising, but understand he was active behind the scenes and helped with the whole process.

I have read what those other guys write about Sampson on those other boards, and it's very mean spirited and those guys like to gossip like little girls, and view Country John as a sucker and Sampson as a thieving pimp.

Sampson won't be able to get this Monkey off his back until Country John gets his money back, and even then I'm not sure he could satisfy these guys?
The other thing these 'little girls' are upset at Sampson about is that he is going back into the lion's den, and getting back into the escort business in Tijuana, " saying if he gets busted again, I ain't helping this time!' While they probably didn't help him the first time either? They want Sampson to quit the escort business, and come back to the states and work a regular square 9 to 5 job.

I guess it's nobody's business except for Country John's and a few others who gave large donations, but it's news and people will continue to talk about it, Now if I was Sampson I wouldn't even response to someone of the likes of Bigdogg who makes the claim him and others guys make the trip to TJ several times a week and know the truth behind Sampson and Fireballs. Among the escrots arrested are Nohamy and Yadira. (Sp? on both.) I'm told two other escorts were also arrested but don't have their names. Lydia, one of his secretaries, was also arrested and is facing the same charges as Sampson.

I've heard the escorts have been released. Apparently they were held a couple of days (longer than normal for their charges) until they were willing to say exactly what they police thought they should.

Burt and Fireballs, you both make compelling points. Sampson is a real class act and, from all appearances, is/was a fair pimp. I can appreciate the fact that he was not a stereotypical pimp. I cannot pass judgement on any man- it is not my place. I truly wish Sampson the best and want to clarify that I do encourage people to assist him any way they can if they are inspired to do so.

Well I haven't heard of any mastermining plan to rip off Country John, but lets just say we heard he was worried about who is handling the bail money. And of course it didn't help after County John's initial fame and warm hearted gift of putting up most of the bail money, where CJ earned the respect of many new mongers, and even some mongers such as myself, who before questioned some of his stories from the past. There were other mongers, telling CJ, you want to play hero, and have the light shine brightly on you, well you reap what you sow, and it will serve you right that you don't all your money back.

i myself have full confidence that CJ will be taken care of, just maybe not right away, and when you do something as noble as Country John did, well then you should bare lot of risk, or the act wasn't noble in the first place JIMHO.( and yes there were minor problems at VivaMexSpa, where I understand my money that I donated was lost for at least a day)

I'm sure there are some legal way to interpret Mexico law to even run an escort agency. I just hope the TJ police will interpret the law the same way?

I'm for anything that will make for a better sexual experience, as there are way to many chicas running around TJ giving bad service.
