I dunno Fireballs, but I think you're a bit heavy handed here.

No question about it, Samp was in a bad spot and even he knew he was going to jail. His bud does not work the business with him and was in fact an innocent bystander. He is not involved in Sampson's business. And we all like whores -some more than others so that is a road to nowhere.

The second guy was not "Mysterious," he is a good friend who happened to help Sampson out when his car broke down. Happens all the time. He wasn't "mixed up" in anything, it was simply a bad timing issue.

You would be an "innocent" bystander if you were walking on Constitution with a druggie street guy following you and hounding you for money, or to take you to a "special" place where they have young girls, wouldn't you? Try telling that to the cops.

La Mesa prison is no piece of cake and it ain't no fucking piece of pie. Going in with no clear indication of when or if you are getting out is a bit unsettling and to some worth the $3000 bribe to stay out. The money was suppposed to kick Sampson also but the cops were dirty (but you already kew that). This shit happens all the time.

Our "mysterious" second guy didn't act like a rookie, he handled it well. He stayed out of jail in a situation where he could easily have gone along with Sampson for the ride becuase the cops were dirty. The ONLY reason he didn't go was because he got the money and THAT was based on the lie that Sampson would be cut loose when he paid; something that didn't happen. If "Mystery Man" was a suspect, he would have gone for the ride and would have entered prison.

You would have to know Sampson and the other players to get a true picture. There was a lot more going on than just Sampson waiting for his money. It was a setup from the get-go. The cops made their money, no need to show up to court for a dog case. IF you read the case file, you'd agree it was a dog case.

There's an old saying that my mother uses: "Play with the bull and you get the horns." This is true in Mexico in almost anything you do since you are subject to detention and harrassment by the cops at any time for any reason, mostly around meal times and holidays like Christmas. Certainly Sampson was involved in "high risk" behavior, but he was set up --plain and simple. Set up poorly but set up.

Don't read too much more into it, there is no "cloak and dagger" or "hokus-pokus" event here.

Fireballs...you are confusing prostitution with public manifestation of prostitution.

Prostitution is legal anywhere in the Tijuana. Public manifestation of prostituiton is only legal in the Zone of Tolerance.

Let's say you pull a stripper out a Revo club and walk hand in hand with her past a couple of little old ladies buying trinkets to go to a Revo. hotel.

In contrast, let's suppose you walk out of Carl Jr. with a respectably dressed chica in search of a cab to take you elsewere.

If it isn't obvious to you the first is publilc manifestation of prostitution while the second isn't then you're never going to understand Mexican law in this matter.

I have been away all day, so sorry for the slow response.

The court is done. We ended the trial on Wednesday the 19. We are awaiting the judges decision. My lawyer has suggested it will be withing 30 days, so I figure in the next 3 weeks.

We have not started the new way of doing business yet, but we have an agreement on a liscense. It will take place shortly after the judge renders a decision, and we can fix our website.

It is Mexico, so you wonder....but the witnesses for the prosecution all helped my case with their testimony, testifying that they were threatened to sign documents or go to prison...the police did not show up several times, and when they did show up they were kids(22 and 23). I am guessing the arresting officers could not take the heat for what happened and they sent some flunkies...anyway one of them even testified that he did not hear the things that were written in his manifestation, and that someone told him they were said.

The last witness(for the prosectution) was there computer expert. He testified that he found no pornograpy of any kind or anything even close in his search of the computer. I don't know why this was even brought up as I was not charged with pornography anyway....My lawyer said that it was good, as maybe that would answer a "unasked" question the judge may have.

The bail will be returned to Country John(he holds the receipt and is the only one that can receive the bail) when the court case is concluded. I don't know if it is the same day or a few days later, but we will find out.

before country john said he would upfront the money and hope he would recover some of it, i know least half of $8200 was all ready in the pot..

how can you refuse when someone wants to up nfront the money and asking for help so he had less burden, i also wanted to speed up the process since next day was friday by putting a deadline of no deal if he didnt show up in BT later that night...

without country john, spamson would be still in tj jail..

The TJ cop leaves, and I bet the second guy just waits there for hours for Sampson to be released, but it never happens, and the second guy realizes he has been doubled crossed?

Now the story goes the mysterious 'second guy' was just a innocent bystander, who got caught up in the wrong place at the wrong time. That Sampson's car had broken down, and it just so happens he got in contact with the second guy, who offered to give him a ride, and I guess a ride to the AM/PM too, and wait for an hour or more till till the clients( undercover cops) take turns fucking the different escorts. What bad luck, give a guy a ride, and you get arrested for pimping and pandering almost in front of Mexican TV.....what are the ODDS of that happening to such an innocent bystander?

Something smells a little fishy to me, and I don't think it's pussy smell? Could somehow the mysterious 'second guy' be somehow caught up in the world of prostitution and illegal pimping in Tijuana? ( prostitution isn't a crime, but pimping is a crime in almost all Latin America countries)

The second guy, if it's who I think it is, is known as a very nice guy, someone you would never expect to be mixed up in this type of thing. But at the same time he lives for 'escorts.' Thinks they are the greatest fuck toys in the world bar none, and he always ready to tell everyone how great escorts are, not just on one site, but at least two or three other prostitution sites. I just don't know, maybe he finances the whole operation , and the TJ cops went after the wrong guy? Could be he is learning the pimping/escort business and one of the girls was his? Maybe, because he helps promote the escort business, he gets fringe benefits( free escort pussy?) Or I guess, it could be he just loves to fuck escorts, and wants the rest of the world to know what they are missing? I just don't know, as I never been able to figure it out?

It's a shame the TJ cops took advaneforum.xxxe of this so-called experienced second guy. If you ask me, he acted like a rookie, and just bent over for those TJ cops who gave it to him good, and then took his money. Now if it were me and I was helping out a friend in need. I'd get US dollars, and cut them in half, give them one half, and tell them, when my buddy is release, you'll get the other half, but until then you can do nothing with the money, and if you don't do that, maybe give them 1/2 the money and let greed work to your advaneforum.xxxe, telling them, you want to arrest my friend, or do you want to release him and get the rest of the money. Country John your info isn't the exactly the name as Burt's. I suggest you go back and re-read exactly what Burt is saying, but in a nutshell, I'll quote Burt, said, " No Prostitution is legal everywhere in TJ."

The real question we are looking for this thread is " what will happen to you if anything if you are caught with an un licensed escort outside the zona of tolerance, or lets say the TJ cops finds you walking with an obvious prostitute on Revolution street to a hotel and stops and questions you, and already got the prostitute to confess you were going to pay her for sex. What could happen to the monger in such a situation? Will he get arrested and taken to jail?? Maybe just arrested, and later let go. Or does the TJ cop not have a leg to stand on, and will just try to get you to pay a bribe, and you( anyone) could read these forums and just 'act the tough' guy' and he'll let you go because your so tough and knowledgeable about the laws of TJ? Or perhaps nothing will happen to you because Mexican is a macho country and your free to walk with a pat on the back, and she might end up in trouble?

When Sampson first started his business he did well. But things were going downhill and he'd been living on his savings.

The first problem he faced was a lot of competition. The second was a lot of mongers were "cutting out the middleman." Also, he refused to buy a "work permit" and got on the "s-list" of the powers that be.

A guy made an appointment for himself and three friends to each meet with an escort. They were undercover TJ cops and arrested the chicas.

The cops took two of the chicas with them to the AM/PM at 7th and Revolution. Sampson was waiting there for his commission. The cops arrested Sampson and television cameras appeared out of thin air to film the event.

Sampson obviously doesn't know what is happening on the "outside" while he is on the "inside." I don't think Sampson's attorney stole any money. I think what happened is bribe money was paid to the cops to secure Sampson's release--but the cops pulled a doubled cross. They probably told Sampson that his attorney stole the money and so he had to stay in jail. (The cops certainly wouldn't say, "We got the money, but we're going to keep it and not let you go.")

Sampson's bail was reduced from $20,000.00 to $9,000.00. But neither he nor his ex-wife have the money. (His ex-wife is still searching for money to pay the attorney in full.)

I'm told he has to even buy his uniforms. That he's in a 6 man cell with 26 guys. That last I knew he didn't even have a change of underwear.

His ex-wife, through his attorney, is trying to get some people permission to visit him. So far the only people who can see him are attorneys. I think the chica he was living with will be able to visit him this weekend. So far she's the only person (other than the attorneys) who can visit him. Attorneys, of course, can get message in and out and his ex-wife is in communication with his attorney.

Regarding my thread how Country John came to the rescue with $9000 dollars, minus $3500 dollars may have been wrong? I'm a little confused about the money part, and who actually did what? I'm not saying this is another Jessica Lynch story, where it turns out she didn't do all the fighting.

Clearly Country John mobilized the guys into action with his pledge of $10,000 dollars, and he spent lots of time discussing it, converting his money to pesos, and I'm sure donated a great deal. I bring this up because during Country John pledge, it got guys like Dr Choi, here on this forum, not exactly an advocate of Sampson, but another guy with a big heart agreed to match up to $1000 of his own money.{ Dr Choi's thinking was no way this guys going to put up 10K, but if he does, I'll put up IK}

Now it turns out that that VivaMexSpa had almost $ 1000 plus collected for Sampson, and, TJ Taxi match $2500, his own personal funds, and some money he collected on Sampson's behalf from friends, and Sampson's ex wife had another $1500 collected?

If my math is correct they had $5000 dollars before even needing Country John's money, and then Dr Choi, kicked in another $1000, and other guys pledge more money in the next few days.

I just hope someone is keeping track of all the donations as Sampson very well might want to fight this case, and if he wins he gets all the bail money back. There is a good chance Sampson will fight the case, because like the "Dog" Sampson has been told he has a very good chance of WINNING, and even if he loses, he may only have to pay a fine, according to Burt. However, it's in the personal interest for Sampson's attorney that Sampson, stay and fight.

I updated the money amount, as I overestimated the amount VivaMexSpa collected when I first posted on this thread, and I'm sure I still don't have the exact numbers. It's really none of anyones business, except the guys that donated, but in the future transparency is important for these types of fund raisers, because there are at least one every year.. It also probably would have been better for Sampson, if the guys announced they had $5000 collected so far, and only needed a little more than $3000 more to get Sampson, it may have spurred a few more guys to action like Country John?

My belief is that Sampson will walk on this. One thing is for sure, the system is extremely slow. I can't imagine him being in jail all this time waiting for a dispostion. I'm glad I was able to help. Others helped too.

As far as the money is concerned, I trust Sampson. He will pay me back. Others have contributed to the fund and it's about $3000.00 less than the original amount. Fortunately I am in a position to part with that kind of money and I just so happened to have it in my desk the day I decided to get him out. Don;t get me wrong, I'd like to see it back but I know when the time comes, Sampson will come through. Guys like him remember who their friends are. I like to think if I had a problem, I could call on him too.

As far as the bust itself is concerned, I am certain Sampson wrote it up, I think it's earlier in this thread.

Very interesting, thanks Fireball. $9,000 bail is nothing. Even $20,000 is not much at all. Wouldn't you think that a well established player like Sampson would have a bail fund set aside for just this type of situation? I personally would have kept at least $50,000 in ransom/bail/bribe money tucked safely away in a US bank, just in case. What gives?

Burt was one of those kind-hearted gentlemen who spent many money I'm sure, and more importantly hours and hours trying to get Sampson out of prison. Good job Burt. Man I was so wrong about the guy Country John, I thought he was just a monger full of hot air, even more then me, but this guy really came through, along with 2 or 3 more guys who made big donations, and gave their time.

The "Zone of Tolerance" is just that, a Zone where the solicitation of prostitution can take place by a man or woman without legal consequence. IN other words, solicitation in the Zone of Tolerance is tolerated

A man and woman can agree to have sex for money anywhere in Tijuana so long as the man or woman is not soliciting in public, are of legal age and are mentally competent. The only place where public solicitation of sex for money is tolerated is in the Zone of Tolerance

Everywhere else is considered the Zone of No tolerance of public solicitation of sex for money.

By restricting the Zone of Tolerance to the Zona Norte, it makes the public solicitation of sex for money anywhere else illegal, but NOT sex for money in a private place.

Pretty clear to me.

This story isn't finished yet. We are still awaiting the disposition of a case and if Sampson has to go back to jail, it looks like he won't no matter how the case ends, but we want to know if the Tijuana judge convicts Sampson and says he is guilty, or innocent, and the big thing is we are also wait to see if Country John gets his thousands of dollars in bail money back. I'm pretty sure he will get it back when the case ends, at least I hope so for Country John's case?

But there is an unknown part of this story, somebody was busted with Sampson and let go after paying a large bribe in the thousands of dollars, the TJ cops double crossed him too, as that bribe was suppose to pay for Sampson's release too, or was it?

Who was busted with Sampson, and why was he really with Sampson in the first place, a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, or something else?

If you are staying overnight or even for a late night you can get a room for the night and avoid the knock. You can usually get a full thirty minutes that way. But often they will consider the session over once you cum, so it helps to let the girl know in advance that you want a full thirty minutes with her so she won't be trying to finish and get out as soon as possible.

Yes that's true the California cops can no longer impound your car in California pissing off the police agencies. Someone on this forum brought it up to my attention, and I posted a link. I believe the 9th circuit overturned the law, but will have to look at the article again to be sure. If that's correct lets hope the Surpreme Court never gets this case before it, as they like to overturn the liberal 9th circuit.
