NRG Karma experience?

Does anybody have any experience with an NRG Karma table? It sounds like a good deal, but it sounds too good to be true. I'm a bit leary. I'm new to this forum. Any recommendations are appreciated.

I'm also very interested in the NRG Karma table and would appreciate any input. Does anyone know anything about NRG? In addition, I've been looking at the Earth Gear Pinnacle table. Has anyone had any experience with it and/or Earth Gear? Thanks!

getting impatient

It would seem that someone somewhere would have one of these tables. One website I visited listed it as a "most popular" and a "best buy." It would be nice to get a response from someone who has one, or has used one. It makes me wonder how many people really read these posts.

Many people read the posts, but often times don't have time to post at that moment. Many members are also not on the board very regularly. Please don't be frustated.

I don't have any experience with these tables. I have actually never heard of them.

Looks good! My only concern would be for the space between the leg and the leg adjustment. My old portable table became unstable after awhile and the legs look very similar. Extra bracing under the table would be good too.

Post read. No experience with this table.

Can't say that helps much, but just for the record, in case you haven't read any of my praises for it, I use Stronglite.

Also, you may want to travel all through the Tools of the Trade section. There are more than a few table threads, and some information on the particular table you are interested in may be found somewhere in one of those. Then again, it may not.

I agree with Masthera, please don't get frustrated about responses. Many people don't respond if they are too busy, or just have no experience with an object you are wanting to know about. My bet is very few of our members have experience with this table from the prior table conversations we have had. Many people use Oakworks and Earthlite.

I've read the post also, but have no experience with the table... and do not know of anyone with experience with this brand of table.

beamersdad, by your own admission you are new to this forum, and yet you seem to have gotten a little upset when you didn't get "instant replies" about your post. You've told us nothing about yourself, or why you want the table... what it will be used for, etc. Perhaps if you were more open about what your needs were, we could steer you towards an appropriate table.
These days in the massage business... it seems that there's new massage table or chair manufacturers popping up all the time and they're marketing them everywhere... at the Costco/Sam's Club or in beauty supply catalogs, on e-bay, their own online websites...
Why don't you just hit e-bay... as I've seen all sorts of advertisements for this brand of table over there. Perhaps you could ask the seller for the name of someone who can give a testimonial?
Everyone who has replied to you so far has been in the business for a number of years and therefore it may have been a while since we were in the market for a massage table. I personally have a 9 year old Earthlite Avalon. I'm considering buying a table myself because I do a good number of outcall (on site) massages per month and would like to lighten the load on the old back... if you know what I mean?
So, obviously I have certain things I'm looking for in a table... what are YOU looking for in the NRG Karma table?

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm just starting out in the massage business and I'm trying to make wise investments. According to what I've read and seen, this table should be just as good as any of the $500, name brand tables. The only problem is that all of the info is coming from someone that is selling the table. This leads to a little scepticism. I like your suggestion and I will contact some of the ebay folk. By the way, this forum is a good resource. I just assumed (and you know what that means) I'd get responses sooner. Thanks!

I will try my best to explain.

With the adjustable height tables you have the leg that is attached to the table and then the adjustable "leg" that you change levels to get the height you want. Sometimes the distance between the leg that is attached to the table and the adjustment (where there is only one thickness of leg as opposed to two where the adjustment piece is) piece is large and that can cause the table to be unstable. Especially with larger clients.

I only had issues with my Custom Craftworks table over the last year, but it was almost 10 years old.

I am only 5'4" and at my regular adjustment it was an issue.
I would have to see the table in person to know for sure, but it looks the same as my old table.

Since you have to keep it at a higher setting you might want to consider an aluminium table like this one. http://www.oakworks.net/portables/wellspring.html
If I had bought another portable table, I would have gone with one like this.

I bought a stationary table with an electric lift to replace my old portable table. That would work well for anyone, I would think, but are much higher priced than a regular portable.

Hopefully some of the taller therapists will read your post and know of some suggestions.

Hi. My husband keeps his table at a very high setting (2 holes and sometimes the wee bit shorter 3 holes from the "top" of the leg).

At the risk of being repetitive about Stronglite, I can say he has never had a stability problem.

His clients use a small stepping stool to get onto the table.
