It's fine. We're already like the U.K. in that sense. Financially, I already have an exit plan because living in the GTA has been very insufferable with the rampant homelessness/junkies roaming around freely and the fatigue of being around these FOBs. I work for the City but don't plan on collecting my pension.

yeah its been shit since 2010, all these new condos and construction haven't done shit but to cause more traffic, chaos, and confusion. I miss the Toronto of the 80s and 90s, it was chill, everyone was laid back, plenty of rippers everywhere, you could drink for cheap, and no gunplay.

Unfortunately, I wasn't around for the golden years. I first lived in Oakville when I moved to Canada but when I came to Toronto in 2015, it wasn’t even as bad as it is now.

The city is riddled with junkies and EI FOBs who have no business working in the service industry but have invaded it anyway. Their unpleasant personalities/poor customer service+all the hobos wreaking havoc have really killed the vibe of the city. It's no longer a conducive environment for recreation and socializing. The city's chaotic atmosphere is the same as that of Seduction Spa lol.

I understand owners need staff, but hiring some tiny ei fob that ugly isn't gonna make more revenue for your bar/establishment, these ei fob chicks lack any good social skills, can barely put on makeup and lack any personality, i see that SFT and DD been hiring more of them but the reviews are shit. The only EI ladies that do well are the westernized ones with fake dyed hair and try to be like Kim K, which isn't saying much,

No opinion on FOBs of any description, but I will agree that parts of downtown are problematic - recently while driving I on two occasions I nearly ran into two crackheads on bicycles making completely unpredictable moves. Scared the shit out of me! I look at something on the dashboard, look up and then suddenly have to make evasive moves. I cursed one of them out but he was oblivious.

Yeah the pay is decent for any city job from building ops to maintenance to security. I started off as a janitor and the pay was fine. I now do facilities so there was a bit of an increase.

Unfortunately, yes there's too much woke shit. We're subjected to all these courses that help us fit in better into this pussified fembot society today.

see i don't see places like cactus and earls/joeys getting that far yet. for sure their kitchen is full of dirty fobs making 16 per hour, but for front facing like servers/bartenders, you need hot blondes/brunettes to keep the high rolling clientele.

I used to be a big fan of the cheaper sports bars like hoops/wild wing, etc. but those places have sold out and gone to shit by over hiring so many useless fobs, they barely know how make drinks, are slow to run orders, stand like a deer in a headlights, i get second hand embarrassment watching this shit, and don't even get me started on Akbar who's been here for 5 minutes in Canada and working as a security guard trying to tell me what to do. Its an epic failure.

its disgusting, and the problem is if you don't hire them they'll cry to the wokies for discrimination. My buddy owns a bar and it sucks, but to weed them out, he asks them to make cocktails during the interview, obviously these fobs dont know shit and are on fake student visas, so he just tells them straight up to kick rocks. Also alot of them enroll at george brown for chef studies, because thats the quickest way to get an easy student visa, and the schools/government make easy money, but we suffer because they lack skills, service, and communication abilities.
