They have no more poverty, more millionaires and billionaires in China than any other country in the world now and over 600 million upper middle class people. They are free to go any where and more than 140 million Chinese went overseas last year as tourists and had spent over 360 billion abroad all over the world.

Canada is not guilty of genocide. The mass grave was probably the result of an epidemic, possibly the 1918 Spanish flu, not deliberate murder.

I dont go by media reports at all. I dont bother with the news. I do however speak to people who live, lived, and/or have ties there. It's not the rosy picture you are painting. Sure if you are rich Im sure its fine, what country isn't, but for the regular person its not as great as you portray it to be.

Don't forget China controls what you see just as much as western media spins things. It's not black and white.

Unfortunately many Chinese are drunk with the CCP koolaid. Their govt reach is unbelievable. That said Canada is the largest hypocrite on the globe. We are just as bad as the USA and even worse as we've actively hidden our history and deeds and then thumb our noses at other countries touting our "moral" superiority. Asians should know about the Chinese poll tax and the Exclusion Act. Our hands are not clean

Huawei is another good example. Huawei buys billions of dolllars worth of semi conductors from intel US. Huawei will collapse if America stop selling semi conductors to Huawei but all America cares about was greed and profits. Now Huawei is spending billions of dollars in R&D to build their own semi conductors. We will have to wait and see what will happen once huawei has it's own semi conductors. Why is Apple and lots of other big corporations still doing big business in China ? That said it all about human rights...lol

That wouldn’t surprise me. China is considered a developing country but to see where they have come from economically to where they are now in the past two generations and how people’s standard of living has improved makes it hard for citizens to criticize what their government has done in other areas. Not saying China is perfect but if ones lifestyle has improved because of all the jobs created in China people would be happy.

Just reading some of this I can tell some people believe everything a Chinese sex worker tells them.

Some of them are just like some friends of mine. They will preach how china is great and how Chinese people do everything smarter and better. First of all most of them are here because they can't make it there. Secondly, they avoid buying products from china. Car, food products etc they won't buy it unless it says it's produced in America or Canada. I make fun of them for this. one friend of mine exports powdered milk to china because people in china don't trust the milk there.

I have other friends who have parents in china that are wealthy and are either high government officials or owns a "successful" business. Some of their parents own like over 12 properties across the GTA and in some cases across Canada which includes Farmland (don't get me started on ranting that this should not be allowed). They are just here squatting in each house giving the allusion that someone is living in them.

They don't hide the fact that their parents are just laundering money and hiding it from the Chinese government from me. They taught me about a lot of the bad things that go on in china. If you don't have connections and or rich you're screwed. Especially if you're a guy.


A little known fact........a lot of the alcohol in china is fake. if you were to ship some alcohol to someone there. Good chance someone will steal it and replace it with a fake.

From the many Chinese I know in the GTA, very few will actively support a Canadian or US-owned business for fear of backlash from
those who will out them to the CCP minders here in the GTA and beyond. If they could get their cellular service from anyone other than Rogers, Bell or Telus, they would.
