Do you think big corporations and lots of construction companies and businesses never scam CRA? Every restaurants and every business where there is cash transactions involved, there always will be some scamming bcuz we are taxed to death. If we have 15% flat tax rate like Singapore, that will be a different story. Even non residents income taxes are capped at 22% in Singapore. Half of my son's income last yr 49.6 %went to CRA and he still has to pay taxes on everything he spent out of what he has left with. Basically you are looking at 65 % tax for high income earners.

This is the first time I am posting. I am Caucasian in case someone needs the correct descriptive term. I have had the good fortune to have traveled a lot in my lifetime. You can find racism everywhere and against everyone. My travel does not take me to tourist locals but to places of business. Meeting people from factory workers to to senior management. These are people not trained to be nice to you just living within their society. From afar we see places as homogeneous but they are not. In China you might find that people from Shanghai are looked on with suspicion by people in Guanxi. As you get to know people better you will find out they don't like Indians, they don't like black people. Many don't like white people. I am not saying that China is any more or less worse then any other country when it comes to prejudices. People everywhere seem to need someone to be inferior to them, the simplest differentiation is the visual. Politicians like Mr. Trump understand this. In my experience if we stop looking at groups and start looking at individuals we will soon enough see the shared values we have.

Maybe if we started doing that the language posted above, "fucking white faggot, nigger, paki, spic or kike" could fall out of our collectives vocabularies.

Every small business owners cheat on tax wherever they can. Small contractors and small paving companies are the worst. Especially those who have connections with city employees. When I was shopping price for my drive way about 15 yrs ago some guys quoted me $18,000 to 22,000. The guy who paved my drive way beat other contractors by $12,000 and settled for $8,000. I was wondering how could he do it so cheap. I only found out when a city truck dumped asphalt on my drive way in the evening hours after they finished some city work some where not too far. A few months later he bought a $63,000 Benz S500 with cash for his daughter's wedding. The funny thing was the guy just sat 2 minutes in the car, no test driving, nothing and told me let's go to his house to get the money..lol. Do you think that guy will pay tax without cheating? Not a chance.
