Honestly. I didn't believe it when i saw someone say that the asian places were trying to take advantage and jack up prices. talk about not knowing the competition around the corner. They do realize they work in a 15 min driving radius where you can bascially fuck gals under 30 for 160 all in.

They know and they don't care, they are catering to a specific type of clientele...

I don't like these places raising their prices anymore than the next guy. I've spoken to the owners and some of my regulars about it...they have their reasons and yes, covid-related expenses is part of it. But they actually want to keep traffic under control too and don't mind just catering to their most loyal customers for now. So far they are doing fine but time will tell if it will last...

Already been going south for quite some time now, probably at the same places you're going to. Just hope they don't follow the RH spas in terms of pricing...

There are only 1000 active cases in Ontario, with around 600 in the GTA. There are 6m people in the GTA, so only 1 in 10k people have it. I like those odds. I'll still take the precautions in most other situations, but this is one area where I'll take my chances.

I ‘m not going to judge people for not going back yet (other than Whitesnake1987 who’s just mental). Some are at home with the wife and can’t sneak out. Others are protecting their bubbles.

But there is a reality everyone is going to have to face. There will never be 100% safety until the virus is eradicated on a global basis or Canada becomes like North Korea where nobody comes or goes and the border is closed permanently to everyone. Whether it’s International trade or Canadians with families abroad there will always be cross-boarder travel that will bring it in. Just check these numbers on flights.

And don’t count on on a vaccine happening for at least another year or more since you’d need to vaccinate the entire world and it’s rare that the first vaccine is the best one.

So, if 100% is not possible what level is good enough? The daily case count is one measure and as a % of population it is very low. Active cases are good to know as well if it’s stable, growing or shrinking. It’s a personal choice but I think the risk level is very low now. Not zero, but low.

Follow the safety protocols, don’t let the Americans in anytime soon. Push for better screening at airports around the world. But you also can’t bunker down like this is a zombie apocalypse.

I was able to see a Brass Girl when I was in Ottawa last week. She'd been at home with the folks but was able to borrow her Mom's car to come to my hotel. I just had to have her home before the street lights came on.

Good fun, but she's returned to the club this week, so that changes things.

I've been staring at schedules all week.... L'il Stooey REALLY wants to go, but so far Big Stooey is holding back.
