Toronto review is for newbies and in chronological order on the first few pages so other spas get some exposure. You can start from page 5-6 and it will be as usual

I had to go to page 116 before. This is useless.

basically you need to ignore almost all the forums and then go to forum -> new. but you only get 10 pages of it. What a fucked up website.

None of the workarounds mentioned here works or does not work well.

I understand spa ads wants to be bumped up, just make those sticky and allow those to bump up to the top if there are updates.

The current state of the threads benefits nobody and definitely makes it harder for anyone to find schedules of the spa. Counter productive.

it is totally stupid. I have basically any regional forum outside of Toronto ignored if they have any traffic. Whoever the site admins are, are lazy af to fix this problem.

New post feature is clutch. Defaults to ignore read messages which got me at first when a thread I read disappeared under new posts but then saw the unread filter active.

Yes and i was a fan of the randomization. Its actually a great solution... but without a tight lookback window to pull from, its def busted. Random from last 2wk or whatevee makes sense.

The randomization only needs to go back one day at most. If the issue is that shills keep bumping the schedule threads multiple times a day, then you don't need to go back too far, certainly not a whole year as it seems to be now (I see posts from January).

Someone on another thread said that this board is now a psyop to see how much bullshit we'll put up with. I'm starting to agree. @admin I hope you already got paid for selling this busted-ass website.

Randomization was set to 6 months, however, we do listen to the feedback. We have set it now to 1 month.

There's a better way. Instead of ignoring all the other forums you can subscribe to the Toronto forum, then change the New Posts filter to only show watched forums and save that as the default. More details here:

I found another trick to make it close to before. Go to Main Menu - New Posts, scroll past the ads, click Filters, select Watched Content and Save as Default. Now it will only show unread threads from watched forums. If you watch the Toronto forum you will only see posts from there.

I also removed the Unread filter and now it works pretty much the way it used to. If you want to look at any of the other forums (which aren't porked), you can unignore and read them normally after doing this.

Supposedly it's new admin / ownership but it seems very hard to believe.... normally that means some sort of recognizable change like they were talking...

My theory is they don't really want user content anymore, so making the forum incredibly difficult, counter-intuitive and frustrating to use is the perfect way to alienate everyone and keep them off the website, so it can simply become a smorgasbord of spa ads and shill threads and nothing more.

If they make it bad enough then gradually everyone will give up and stop using it, which seems to be exactly what's been happening for some time now. Real clients who don't have a covert agenda and depend on this site for income won't be willing to put up with the aggravation.

You have to go to the top of the Toronto forum & click Watch.
