Who is your favourite legit RMT?

You want a really deep deep massage, see Kelli at Purity Health and Wellness. Totally legit but she can get in real deep, had to get her to back off a couple times lol

Saw Erin at Alberta Momentum, she can deliver a seriously deep massage, fully draped and legit. A bit too serious for me, too medical, I couldn't relax, hence I did not return. I would recommend if you are looking for a good therapeutic massage.

This reminds me of one of my best ever massage therapists from about 5 years ago. Chinese. Massage was deeply therapeutic, with back walking.. with just the right amount of caring sensuality in her touch. Then she took some advanced courses and training for 6 months. I only saw her once after. There were lots of medical massage techniques. But there was no natural flow. Maybe it would suit someone who thinks of themselves as an "injured patient". But for someone already fit and healthy who seeks massages for "peak health", this just did not cut it.

Ultimately, I believe that to be the issue. Even for a 100% legit massage, for me, the goal is still "healing 1st plus a small amount of relaxation", top notch healing alone isn't enough. Relaxation can come in different forms, obviously a HJ is welcomed but without it, a good conversation, or a good quiet relaxing environment, or a good "flow" (periods of healing interspersed with periods of gentle relaxing strokes); all of the above can work. Prolonged hammering of the wounded muscles can turn into a torture session over time.

I looked at the Best Balance website.....lots of pictures, but none of the therapists themselves....

i would like to give a shout out to my favourite legit. I go for a Thai oil massage at Siam Thai Yoga massage.
I like Thai oil because its a good blend of therapeutic massage and stretching...and my tours of the Thai places in Edmonton didnt really help my multitude of issues (physical) until here.
I dont know if the owner needs more business or not but i would suggest giving Thai oil massage a try.
