The Chinese word for “business” is “life way.” It means doing a business = creativity, what people call 1 + 1 not equal to 2. It requires imagination to be successful in business. What works for some people may not apply to you. If you want to run a business, have a plan that suits your talent.

Another well-known Chinese word is “Risk,” which include opportunities in the word. Successful people can turn risk into an opportunity and outperform the usual crowd.

I had made many terrible mistakes when I first started my business, including making it from scratch instead of buying an existing one. However, with my passion and dedication, I managed to overcome the challenges. I have been running a very sound business before the pandemic. If you don’t have the passion, don’t want to work extra hours, long hours, don’t even think of starting a business at all.

Like many businesses, people are the most crucial element. Managing and motivating the MPA is the key, not the amount of rent or other minor expenses.

I hope whoever ends up buying the spa will run it in the right way, and we have one more place to go.

It's in the Sheraton Hotel Parkway shopping plaza. Nothing to do with Leslie hwy7 red light district. It is facing hwy7 more close to East beaver creek. Alice had ran a successful Oasis spa right besides Gal Sushi the next bldg to Orchid with much much higher rent $4500 a month plus TMI and she told me it adds up to about $6,000 a month with some other expanses. Now her rent is only $1700 and the place is very nice. She can survive easily even with Covid. All she need is one or 2 customers a day to cover her expanses and still have some profit left and she has lots of regulars. It must be some other personal reasons she is selling it..

if it is so lucrative, you should buy it yourself. It will help you with your retirment funds.

Agreed. Owners like the current owner of Golden Lotus is one of them. Telling people to fuck off or call somebody a loser won't help with the business image. In the spa business female owners will do better than males for sure. if the mpas quits, male owners can't go in and work. They better have good connections with the girls and recruit them.

Cupcake, you know what? Your bashing of Golden Lotus have helped their business a lot and they are one of the busiest holistic spa in that area now. Ask Cherry and Fifi if you don't believe me. Fifi was pissed when Cherry told her GL got 16 customers the day she worked there. Sometimes Negative advertising works much better than normal boring advertising. Why do you think I love Dr Snake so much ?
