I think the climate has improved considerably for socdem policy in recent years, and it's probable that the COVID situation may entrench that further. We have right-leaning world leaders talking UBI and rent/mortgage suspension. Little improvements for frontline workers though.

Secondly Trump does have a strong chance of winning if he rises to the challenge of COVID-19. Even with a high death toll he can still win if he shows leadership. I do not think he will. I think his late response, refusal to take meaningful action, disrespect for the experts, failure to use the War Powers Act, etc, will be quantified into a large number of lives that were not saved - "Trump Casualties". Secondly, if he is shown to have enriched himself and his cronies via the bailouts, people (even the stupid ones who only watch Fox News) will become disgusted with him. Things will start to get very real when most people know at least one person who died from COVID-19. The one thing that would guarantee that Trump would win is if he "temporarily" extended Medicare to everyone - Trump is the one person on the right who could do this (his loyalty is only to himself, he would not blink an eye at betraying his corporate supporters if it benefited him).

You have every right to feel the way you do about Donald Trump but you do not want to cross that line where you start insulting his supporters as well. I do not trash Justin Trudeau supporters no matter how strongly I feel about him. You don't want to paint us all with a broad brush. Instead, as voters, we can have a respectful and open discussion or debate about why we disagree about certain political positions.

Trump addressed several issues that resonated with Middle America during his campaign. The liberal media continously tried to present him as this racist, sexist, homphobic, transphobic, Islamophobic, xenophobic man by reducing his speeches and interviews into short sound bytes to paint him as such. Less naive Americans, who only cared about the country's economic well-being and didn't give a crap about identity politics, saw past the lies perpetrated by CNN and MSNBC and took a chance by voting for him. Some say they're better off 4 years later, others will say they're worse. It's a case by case basis but there is no denying the jobs that were created under his administration especially for blacks and Latinos, increase in everyone's 401ks, the reduced prison sentences under the First Step Act, his tough stances on illegal immigration, terrorism and trade. He has also been a voice for those silenced or cancelled by today's politically correct, predominantly liberal mainstream media.

Don't get me wrong. He is a very flawed human being. He's had a history of prejudice, adultery and unethical business practices but how is he any worse than Eric Swalwell, Adam Schiff, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Joe Biden, Bill and Hillary Clinton? How is Fox News anymore biased than CNN? The difference? Trump is open about being an asshole as compared to his opponents who hide behind virtue. Fox is open about their partisan conservative views while CNN pretends to be a non-partisan beacon of journalism. A lot of Trump voters didn't elect him because they thought he was such a great human being. They chose him because he was the man who took on these lifetime politicians who have lied to them for decades and his bombastic style resonated with them. If the DNC weren't so corrupt by handpicking their nominees behind the scenes, I honestly believe Tulsi Gabbard would have made a great presidential candidate. I would have loved to see her beat Trump.

Here's a few instances where the very evil media pushed their narratives and it backfired. Some have involved Trump and other times, they made it about him because they're deranged.

1. The Stormy Daniels affair - He banged a porn star in 2005. He's a scum bag for it but big deal! The angle of Stormy's crooked lawyer Michael Avenatti was that by paying her to shut up, Trump committed a campaign finance violation. Oh yeah? What about her violating her non-disclosure agreement? Well, she lost in court and was ordered to pay Trump's legal fees. Hahaha!!! Oh and where is Avenatti now? Facing 40 years in the booty house after a guilty verdict because he tried to extort Nike out of millions. Wasn't CNN grooming him to be a future Democratic presidential candidate? Pathetic.

2. The Covington High School fiasco - Remember when the media tried to doxx kids in M.A.G.A. hats on a field trip because of a short video where Native Nathan Phillips started chanting obnoxiously in Nick Sandmann's face? Sandmann was portrayed as racist because he didn't move away when it was his space that was invaded. When a longer version of the video came out, it showed the kids getting verbally abused with racial slurs by Black Hebrew Israelites who also called a random black passer-by a coon because he disagreed with them. It also turned out that Phillips lied about fighting in Vietnam because the fucker was never deployed! What a LOSER! How sweet it is that Sandmann sued CNN's ass and got a hefty settlement from those crooks.

The Jussie Smollet hoax - Need I say more if you have to pay 2 Nigerian men to wear ski masks, pretend to be white supremacists and attack you in the middle of a -21 degree night while you're foolishly out in the cold trying to buy a Subway salad? The lying cock sucker tried to justify it by saying it was for personal training! My god, the insanity of this bitch! Personally, if I were to carry out such an attack, I'd go for the big fish. I'd go for Terrence Howard, the star of Empire. I'd also do it in warmer weather and a redneck town. Who the fuck is JUSSIE SMOLLET???
