A 40-year-old teacher at a downtown Toronto high school has been charged with sexual exploitation. Timothy Dingwall, a teacher at Harbord Collegiate Institute, is now on home assignment. A spokesperson for the Toronto District School Board said Tuesday that the school called the police when the allegations were first brought forward.

"When the allegations were brought forward to school officials, police were immediately contacted, and the teacher has been off since that time," Kelly Baker told CTV News.
On Monday, the school sent students at the school home with a letter informing parents of the allegations, she said.

Not if you are an upper staff employee at the Toronto District School Board. To make matters worse, if the accused is a female teacher, the TDSB disciplinary committee hardly does anything about it except transferring the offending teachers.

Varla Abrams is one of those Principals who keeps on getting transferred to different schools after being caught in scandals too numerous to mention.
Gordy Stefulic is another teacher who stole hundreds of thousands of $$$ and remained employed at the TDSB until she was transferred to become Chair of the TSAA.
Vivian Mavrou, to my knowledge and research, was recently caught at Silverthorn Collegiate doing illegal sex with a minor. The TSDB was lenient on her and transferred her to Martingrove Collegiate Institute in Etobicoke.

The Toronto District School Board keeps on hiding these sex scandals. Mary Gowans, though she was not guilty in the Kangaroo Court, was guilty by association and collecting her student phone number and sex-ting what not to the minor. Fortunately, Mary Gowans resigned so a little justice was served for the law-abiding people.
