Reveal or Not to Reveal Handles

The general consensus seems to be don't reveal your handle. It seems to apply to some of the ladies as well. Which brings a point, how would we know when we grace a lady's table?

In the past I have had a couple of surprise PM's from ladies I have seen, not realizing that they were on massageplanet.net, and not having reviewed my handle during the session, but after posting favourable and, I would like to think, in good taste reviews. It made for a nice surprise.

I dont reveal who I am so that I may speak candidly. MPA's shouldnt hijack massageplanet.net to solicit business (ie: pm-invites, etc) Thats what paid advertising is for and how massageplanet.net keeps afloat. Its bad ettiquitte to post in some situations too, like responding to a negative review, shilling, putting down a massageplanet.netite, etc. A friendly pm to thank someone or comment on their posts etc is generally ok. I post questions and add my 2cents, perhaps even times when I shouldnt, LOL But everything has multiple meanings/reasons.

My user line is a bit of a teaser, I know...I have to stir a little trouble here and there.

Apparently there have been some situations whereby hobbyists have used their massageplanet.net handle - or at least pretended they were a member - to get 'extras', price reductions or similar in return for a good review on the boards.

It's a pretty lousy thing to do.

I seem to recall Sheik writing about that at one point, and said that any massageplanet.net member who did such a thing would be banned. I can't seem to find the post at the moment (yup, did a search, but didn't have any luck, at least not yet) but I know it's around here somewhere.

Best bet is to just keep yer mouth shut.

I wouldn't reveal a handle until after the session, I think it could be taken as blackmail if you do so before going in (unless the whole thing was set up through massageplanet.net). It could also be seen as asking for special treatment, or "give me what I want, or else" by going into the whole review board thing.

I've heard a few providers will not see people who post here, then again some will cut special deals or offer something extra for a good review. Both lead to bias and not what the intention of the board is.

Just my opinion though, unless I know they're from the board and an active participant .. I never bring it up.

I dont think this is what he meant by this thread, because there are so many others on that topic. And for the record, they arent all banned, I know a few that do that regularly. Never kosher to do so.

In general, I don't see an advantage of giving my handle away, unless we get into a discussion about how I found her, or something related to massageplanet.net. And, I would not use it for any advantage in terms of extras. I'd rather the lady be comfortable with me, than on edge or feeling she has to perform.

The thank you note, on the few times I have received it, is a pleasant surprise. Usually it confirms what I thought was a good mutual session.

In my case, nobody out there knows my handle (I mean, my massageplanet.net ID not the other one!)

And, here those who know me by my handle, never met me outside! I'm more comfortable like that. After all, I can act like a handsome guy here!

But, everything else including my reviews and my respect towards ladies out there are sincere and true.

And last but not least, I don't appreciate a few massageplanet.netites around who abuse their seniority to scare new angels with posting bad reviews and etc. There's been a few threads regarding this already.

So, this is the message for those cute new ones: Do not give a damn if someone says I'm from massageplanet.net! Most of us do whatever we want and appreciate the company of whoever we like.

If I establish a good rapport with a girl, I have no problem telling her what my handle is. By then we would normally have already discussed at least to a certain dgree the existence of massageplanet.net, so she knows I know about it and I know she knows about it.
When I post, I just state the truth, so I have absolutely nothing to hide, ever.
Having said that, I can say that I've only revealed my handle to a handful of ladies over the years. Once in a while, a MP will figure out who I am and pm me. Again, no problem.
Don't get me wrong, I don't go around advertising that I'm a massageplanet.net, merb, MM member. Nor do I use my handle to introduce myself. And I would never try to leverage my membership to get any special treatment. That would just be plain nonsense.

I've only revealed my i.d. to one MPA. I like the anonynimity. I'm sure if a couple MPA's have read reviews they would know who I am but nothing has ever been said. I don't think it is fair to reveal your i.d. or that your a massageplanet.netite before your first session. It will immediately put the MPA in a defensive mood, wondering about the future review. If your posting a review I think it's much more worthwhile to post if the MPA didn't know you were a massageplanet.netite.
