I felt like rambling, so here goes..

Yesterday I had to put out one fire after another and today I am exhausted. I noticed my balls were hanging low (they are usually high and tight). After a Google search I found an article on Reddit that says how loose your sack is depends on body temperature - the balls hang outside of the body to remain cool, and when your body is hot your balls hang lower. So I will take low hanging balls as a signal that I need some R&R.

I deal with a lot of people and every year I encounter one crazy person and one nasty person. This time I got a twofer. A couple of days ago I did business with a sociopath - I remember a psychologist in a documentary saying the he knew someone was a sociopath if ten minutes after meeting one he wanted to be friends with them. They fool smart people, who are then too proud to admit they have been conned, for example everyone one that got involved with Bernie Madoff. This guy I instantly liked - friendly, good manners, polite and respectful and with very interesting stories. He said to me "No one offers to carry your umbrella for you until it starts raining - what do you think that means". To this I replied "It means that people act in their own self interest". To which he replied "No one gets that, I knew you were smart". So he used flattery to undermine my natural caution, and he also signaled that he lives his life only acting in his self interest. A cell phone went missing and I cannot prove it was him, but he did cause several headaches. I have ejected him from my life and have added some new security measures.

A week ago I did 2.5 grams of magic mushrooms. I did not get any visuals or insights, and the trip felt a heavy THC experience. But I swear something has changed - I am more active, more mindful and more innovative. I would like to try 5 grams (which is an "heroic dose"), but I need to find someone I trust to baby sit me during the trip.

they wear a human disguise but are not human - and they will fuck you up

only one way to deal with them and that is to completely distance yourself and ghost them

My own experience with mushrooms goes back to the eighties living in BC. Did them a few times ,once when skiing grouse mountain and I remember being in slow motion it seemed the whole afternoon great day.totally euphoric
. No real side effects other than some stomach cramps but I put that down to the cold and skiing.
I know some friends that used to do them regularly and swear it was better than acid.
Used to see people picking them in the morning on the airport road in Richmond ,
My days of experimental drug use are pretty much done,although my buddy just put me onto some edibles his friend makes from his own oil.
Nice and mellow just the way I like it.

These are interesting topics. Unfortunately, I won't be able to chime in on sociopath. I am somewhat borderline myself...he he he...

On magic mushrooms, I would say slow down in taking unnatural medicines. Well, I assume it was because it has "magic" word included. Have you tried taking medicinal herbs? I find them less invasive in our system. For sure you will not get high but benefits outweigh the side effects.

So you do not smoke or drink? I get high twice a week, rarely drink, have never smoked. As for paranoia that some get from cannabis, that has not happened yet.

Not a TCM. It is more of a modern way of preparing medicinal herbs, plants and vegetables. I do take ginseng too. It is panax.

I tried 7 grams of McKennaii magic mushrooms today. Here is my profound revelation "expect to be disappointed". No visuals, felt very intoxicated and tired. Everyone's biochemistry is a little bit different and my own is disappointing me.

I reflected on mental illness today thinking about Trump's attempt at a coup to keep himself out of prison, a certain quirky MPA with issues, the asshole who stole a cell phone from my business last summer, a profoundly intelligent ex-girlfriend who was used as a sex toy by her grandfather and a punching bag by her mother (the grandfather I think had PTSD from his service liberating France from the Nazis, and this led to generations of abuse). I was reminded of that Rolling Stone song Nineteenth Nervous Breakdown - "On our first trip I tried so hard To rearrange your mind. But after a while I realized You were disarranging mine." We try so hard to work with and around people with mental issues, we achieve nothing and lose time, money, and mental energy in the process.
