Would NL be working as normal during new year (dec 31 night and jan 1 night) ? Planning to celebrate this new year there.

Has anybody been there on new year ? Are there any restrictions by P*lice during this time other than the curfew restriction ?

i've been there on New Year a couple of years back. They have a cake cutting at midnight. Doubtful it will be the same this time with the night curfew.

For those who are not sure about the safety in NL

During one of my pre-covid time visit at NL, guided by SP Love(in Hindi), was visiting 1B1F. Both of us just entered the main door, I sent SP to check if my bird is available. Time was around 10:45PM. Mean time, I was taking a look around. Few men sitting and watching the TV, an old lady sitting near entrance door and eyeing narrow lane in front of the building, colorful fancy lights showing way to different rooms, girls from a room coming out after a session, condi-boy rushing in for clean-up.

All of a sudden, the old lady came-in and said something in local language to the men who were watching the tv. I was still standing there clueless of the situation, but as soon as she said, one fellow rushed to turn off all the fancy lights. Still clueless and standing there, heard they whispering themselves "P*lice" "P*lice". I started panicking, was looking for a way to get out of the building.

SP was still inside checking for my bird. Seeing my panic face, one of the man said, no worries, go through the front only, no worries. Blindly trusting his words, started walking out. To my surprise, the police were standing in the GF near the stairs just one constable and lady constable. They were standing totally cool chitchatting with SPs not at all minding who all are getting down.

As soon as I was out, did not turn back walked fast. SP phoned me, asked don't go. I told him p*lice is there. He said thats fine, they will go in 10 mins. Have not been to NL since Covid. Planning to visit sometimes this week. Have heard the dip in quality of birds as well as services.

But I think if we repeat with same bird more than thrice, service quality could be maintained as expected. Also as previously advised by someone in this forum, it is worth having a word with the bird before finalizing the deed to discuss their do's and don'ts. If their do's don't match with your do's you could simply go with other one. Most SPs tolerate this.

Hopefully let old birds fly back to NL this week.

Strongly agree with this observation. I had been to CH twice post lockdown and feel disappointed to see the available stock and attitude of pimps there. Once I was lucky to find what i needed. Much better Maal than this in Lakhan's den at Kennedy Bridge when I visited about a month ago.
I quoted 800 and finally settled for 1200, he was like.. "Sir 1700 ki ladki hai lekin abhi aisa time hai".

Now KB has decent service, no dfk or bbj but other things are on the card but the one I chose that day was Fulltu nakhrabaaz( mona I think her name was) but the other three very equally pretty and would have been cooperative I guess.
Lakhan's den is opposite kuteer bar , the second door after the panwala( walking towards charni station)...second topmost floor.
P.S - avoid visiting if you have vulnerable people in your family.
