Sometimes they want a night out and to enjoy the company of a man outside of the spa. You'd be surprised how many are lonely and just want some company.

They are often 'lonely' from an emotional perspective. There's a big difference between what they do at work vs. meeting someone they can have an actual conversation with and that makes them feel good (I don't mean sexually...).

It is true, if they have Bf or husbands, they won’t work in this industry due to higher risk of exposure to common friends. I know someone who usually single or at least BF/husband is not in local or Canada
