I don't know how tough the Canes would be.... Don't forget Montreal isn't exactly a great team!!! And they only got 90 points to win there weak division.... I think who ever wins between Toronto and Ottawa will steam roll over the Canes!!

Don't get me wrong, if ever a team I wanted to see win the S/C, it's the Leafs.....they need this win - for them and us....but....I don't see them winning tonight (let the flaming begin!).
Their wins have been nail biting to the finish, a struggle on their part, and their steam seems to be going strong, but the same can be said for Islanders and Senators. I hope they win, but if they don't, hey at least they got us out of the house for wings and beer!!!!

Hope for the best, expect the worst....

This is a very well though out comment.Keep in mind the playoffs is a whole different season.Montreal knocked out the top seed in the east (the bruins).The canes were made for the playoffs.Do you really think the Leafs injury plagued defence is going to stop the dreaded BBC line of Carolina? Brindamour,Battaglia and Cole are going to have a field day against the Leafs or Sens.All three of them are prototypical power forwards who will pretty much dominate whenever they're on the ice.Dont forget about Ron Francis,Jeff O'neil,Martin Gelinas,Joseph Vasicek,etc.The Canes are very deep up front and have a competent enough defenceand goaltending tandem to get by the Devils (a team the Leafs could'int get by in 2 sucessive seasons).Carolina vs Detroit Stanley Cup Final,with the Wings simply outclassing the Canes and sweeping them in 4.

Hope we see a good gaem. I am going down tonight, and for the amount of cash I paid for these tickets I don't want to see a repeat of last nights debacle.

Just thinking...with the money it cost I could have several good nights at any MP or SC.

I really hate to do this but I'm going to agree with Rusty 100% on this.

My only thought that differs is that I'm not 100% positive Detroit can beat San Jose. I'm pretty sure Detroit can handle Colorado but the Sharks are the Canucks with just a bit more talent. 3 solid scoring lines. That Sharks/'Lanche game last night was phenomenal!

Imagine a Carolina/San Jose SC final? I can predict the poor ratings already!
