Water Q spa on Woodbine ave is only 5 minutes away. It's a legit spa with 10-12 masseuses working every day and always busy. I don't see any problem with this new spa. Trust me, they have their own kind of clientele. I have seen lots of young wealthy couples going into Water Q spa quite often. Not everyone is looking for happy ending like us.

It's not that I don't think the concept can work. But the upkeep and overhead to run that place must be very high. Not sure if the demand will be enough to make it economically viable. We'll see...

You don’t actually think legitimate business owners are behind this place do you? Doesn’t matter if they do 1 customer per day. On paper the business will be killing it. It’s called money laundering and having a front business to integrate the cash back into the system is a must.

Never been to Go, but at the one at Dufferin and Steeles, the saunas are all mixed, as is the common area and snack bar.
The changing rooms, where the hot tubs, cold baths, steam rooms, showers are located are separate for men and women.

In other words, no mixed areas with nudity.

The owners of this spa also own successful Toronto restaurants such as Dragon Pearl. Additional financial investment l believe is from a Chinese-Canadian multi resort owner. After all, ten million dollars is not that easy to totally finance through a financial institution without some form of security and indemnity.

I checked it out a few weeks ago.
It's extremely luxurious, very welcoming.
I ent in the middle of the afternoon and there was a fair number of people floating around. Certainly not crowded, but busy enough in the sauna rooms area and the massage rooms seemed quite busy.
The men's hot tubs and steam room weren't as busy. There seemed to be quite a few women and couples in the sauna and common areas.
I had a massage. It was very good, 100% legit.
