309 Corridor Raided

Wow, I hope not. Was a good place for just the basics, but nothing more was ever offered there (at least to me). Great massage though. I will miss it for sure if its gone. I didn't think they raided places that didn't offer any real extras (other than the basic services).

I suspect that oversaturation had something to do with the raids in Coopersburg.

There were only two AMP's on "The Corridor" for several years: Gold Spa and Smile (Wellness) Spa. These AMPs survived unscathed; although Smile was raided onnce and re-opened as Wellness a few weeks later.

I believe that the "The Corridor" attracted unwanted attention during the passed year when several new AMPs opened withing a few blocks of Gold and Wellness: Hilltop, End Spa, Healing, ect. Driving down the 309 through Coopersburg during the passed year was almost surreal. "The Corridor" became its own version of the old Admiral Wilson BLVD. "The Corridor" was bound to dig its own grave; just like the BLVD.

I don't understand the practicality of having so many AMPs clustered next to each other in one area. What were these Koreans thinking?

Thanks, I'll check it out. I figure there's gotta be something good around Easton and from what I recall there's a decent strip club up in Bath. Or maybe a young Lehigh co-ed looking to make a few bucks!

You can try VIP in Allentown. Have not been there in a while but has always been good in the past.

My suspicion says, "yes," it was closed. Tried calling a couple of times since raids - no answer. And with it's proximity to End Spa, which is a couple of blocks away, suggests they cleaned up entire corridor.

I didn't see this spa mentioned in the articles or anybody's posts. It is located on 309 in Q-TOwn too. Did they get hit too?

I was also planning a trip soon...Thinking of hitting the new Sands Casino and then taking the ride down 309. I come from Jersey so usually make a day of it.

Gotta see if there's anything else good in the area of the Casino but I don't really know the area so it's not easy. Oh well, time to do some research!

Major suckage. When I lived in the area years ago there was nothing like these places. Coming back to visit I have been having a ball the last few years. At least there are still some options in the area but you have to wonder if they are under investigation also.

For me not the end of the world as I only visit a few times a year. Here in Canada there are lots of options with fewer risks but what we DON"T have is table showers which I love.

I hope all the girls who have gave us so much joy are all ok.

Not much you can do about it. Makes them look good to the public eye. All we can do is stay safe, use good judgement, and keep an eye out for anything suspicious. After all the berks county raids, I had a feeling 309 was next. 4 in a mile stretch.

Not sure why these articles portray the women as being victims. Shit they work in a peaceful environment, get plenty of aerobic excercise, and get paid hundreds of dollars to do it. If anyone is a victim now its gonna be the taxpayers - think police salaries, DA salaries, court salaries and welfare for the fine ladies once they get out of jail and have no JOB. Awesome logic.

Those places were on borrowed time. I think it's gonna a long time till I k back to an amp or any mp for that matter.

Wow, this news really sucks. I'm in western NJ and hit spas near me, but have frequented the Rt. 309 spas all the way back to the days of Fuji. Wellness and Gold were always pretty consistent and I had some thoughts about heading out that way in a week or two. Guess I need to go to my plan B.

Drove down 309 today and the only spa with an OPEN light on was the new American staffed spa just past Hilltop Spa. \

Hill Top Spa, closed.

Gold Spa, closed.

Wellness Spa, closed.

End Spa, closed.

I also noticed a big sign outside the Wellness Spa that said "Spa Coming Soon" and there were windows and doors open an it looked like construction was going on.

I do not think they would re-open under a new name so quickly. My gut feeling is the construction going on is by LE to add video and sound recording equipment to capture patrons. Only time will tell.

I will be steering away from these places for quite some time, even if they reopen and get good reviews.

The article says 11 women total at all places that were raided were busted.

Obviously this bust was gonna happen sooner or later. The only thing that surprised me was that the article said the mamasans at Hilltop and Wellness are over 60 years old. The mamasan at wellness was closer to 70.
