Ahhh great question. First, the second question. The Doctor simply sends you to a regular lab with a requisition where you smile and wave at the lady attendant.

I've never been to the clinic, but my understanding is you skip the lab process so save the extra pair o judging eyes.

Now on to the first question, What the clinic's don't readily publish is all

testing information goes into your medical record which your Doctor, or any Doctor (including your Optometrist even - trust me I know 100% fact) has full access to.

The Doctors must have access to your medical history in order to properly diagnose conditions and select treatment suited.

The Doctors may ask you about history however they do not rely on just that info because the patients cannot be expected to know or always remember what is important to communicate.

And so, the Doctors would review your history as part of normal procedure, and not while their with you necessarily, typically it can be before and or after your visit with them.

So if you go to most any clinic there's a high probability your Doctor will learn about that, highly unlikely they would not unless you never see your Doctor for anything else,

and what do you think their conclusions will be then?

That's the thing. Some guys don't have a regular doctor.

This is right from their Policy......... What this means of course is you are only kept confidential so long as you DO NOT test positive.

That's the thing. Some guys don't have a regular doctor.

In this case, that makes it even easier. Just go to any walk in Clinic and get the requisition to get tested at the lab, no need to worry about being embarrassed.

Paying to go to an illusion of privacy makes no financial sense to me, I'm cheap and will suffer embarrassment before I pay for

what I can get for for free (free = paid with my tax dollars).

Herpes is not there, and neither is HIV/AID's - Probably because the Gay people already sued gov. saying it was invasion of privacy against their human rights.
I assume with either of those you are going to need continuous prescriptions (for AID's it would be significant). I am
not sure if that clinic has follow-up and continual care, however in any event, it would not be free service and does that make sense as I guess in these cases
you would be pretty much be out of the ballgame when it comes to sex because if you were to ever transmit it to others, without informing
them in advance of course, and they figure out it was you, then you will be sued and or jailed.

Why do you go to your regular doctor for that? Can't you go to a walk-in clinic? Your regular doctor will send you to a clinic to do those type of tests anyways, don't they?

Some fam. doctors get ass hurt when you go walk-in and I've heard some threaten to de-roster, I think it has to do with their quota or some bs along that effect their bottom line

I had a Family Doctor that was part of one those super clinics, they have their own pharmacy on site, nutrition, Shrink, you name it, they made

you sign a document stating you WILL NOT go to outside walk-in's (they had their own walk-in). They did not say what would happen if

you did go to walk-in clinic but it seemed rather serious. If I wanted to see my family Doctor, I had to wait 6 + weeks so they force

you to their walk-in,,, and so I left.
