I don't know if this seems a bit personal but I just found out one of my classmates who I chatted with a lot recently mention she did sex work before getting her life back together.

It's a bit strange to find out anyone you know who left the SW industry.
She later called me and mentioned how she had a friendship with a married client. Where she ended due to her not feeling like a grown married man should be who she has as a friend.

I later found out she used to be in a spa, which surprised me since I used to go to spas more frequently before. I got to find out where she told me she was like one of the few Asians working at the spa as she said there were a mix of races but only 4 Asians. She mentions a lot of them used drugs a lot and she didn't.

She kept her boundaries but ended up giving in due to pressure by the clients. It kinda changes my view on how we try to ask girls for extras and mention how some girls would make an exception for some people and not for others. Like the idea of finding a girl who was restrictive, and when she lets you do FS, people would be running rumours and spreading that they are now a FS worker when they didn't feel ready.

It's honestly the first time, I got to genuinely know someone as a friend before finding out.

I've known a few.

Some used to be straight up escorts, two used to be MPAs.

I met the MPAs while they were working. We hit it off but it turned into more a friend thing than anything else.

There's something weird about sexworkers when they're not "ON SHIFT", their sex-drive is practically gone and they think of sex as more of a transaction or a thing to "get out of the way" in a relationship, like they're just doing what they're supposed to be doing.

One of the former MPAs is dating a dude, she's got weird boundary issues and complains regularly about him wanting to be around more but she doesn't want him around but says she loves him.

Definitely a LOT of unresolved issues and more than a fair amount of regret and psychological damage.

Doesn't stop me from cruising the spas and escorts, though. Personally, I think people make their choices and need to live with them. I don't let it get "personal" anymore with anyone I see. No real names, no "off-book" drinks or dinners or anything.

In all honesty, everyone's got their "shit". I had a string of shit relationships and a shit marriage and you wouldn't see me pushing someone away if I met them. I don't do the spas while dating but I'm just too busy for that now and, well, COVID.

If the girl can't handle it but chooses to stay because the money is easy and then chooses to let some client up in there who's gonna run tell everyone about it then it's really just her problem.

It was a pretty tough time, she decided to finally stop after getting a scare at the doctors office and she decided it was not worth it anymore. It is difficult to leave. She mentioned a pimp tried to come and recruit her because she looked young and was Asian
