This bothers me...

So, I was speaking to a girl I know quite well as an MPA and as a close friend. She had a customer recently who apparently came in shortly before closing and chose her as his attendant. He obviously knew that the other girls would be leaving as well as the boss, leaving a locked spa and him alone with her. He used that opportunity to behave very, very badly. She would only say that he didn’t hurt her, but she does not want to talk about it at this point. I know her boss well, and will be investigating further. I do hope it’s not someone in here. There’s no excuse for that type of behaviour, but it’s not the first asshole she’s encountered.

I've been the last customer many times but with faves that I know very well and I've never done anything the MPA was not comfortable with. That guy sounds like a loser, hope they identify him.

This is very common actually, I agree it's not that safe but it happens all the time. Keep in mind, there's also many smaller places where there's often one girl there for the entire day.

I hope so too. This industry can sometimes harbour people on the fringes of what is “normal”, but there are rules.

I never leave the spa whenever we have late customers. Especially if the customer is new to the spa. That's why girls at JR love me and told me they feel secure knowing I was there at the front whether day or night. Sometimes girls at JR stayed late till midnight.

I was once the last customer and after I was finished (about 10 mins before closing) a guy comes in. The MPA told him they were closed but the guy pleaded that he only wanted a HE. She finally relented but then came into my room saying she didn't feel safe being alone with him and asked if I could stay until they were done. I agreed. While they were doing their thing, I would make some noises so that the guy knew he wasn't alone with her. After that, he was done in about 5 mins LOL. Personally I think it's a loser move to come right before closing "unless" you know the MPA well and know for sure she doesn't mind.

That should be the norm, kj. I don’t understand a boss who will leave a girl alone. Problem is the smaller places don't have the luxury of having someone like KJ being there. In fact, many times the boss is not even there, just a couple of ladies (sometimes just one) and they have their own "agreement" in place. These ladies often don't consider their safety. My fave often had to close alone and it always bothered me that she would be put in that situation.

having a "guy" at the front desk turns me off instantly. It made me feel I am going to a gay massage parlour (no offence).

Some customers take advantage of the MPA as they believe MPA will not report to the police due to the nature of the activities happening inside the spa. A spa owner told the MPA who got assaulted not to call police for the fear it would ruin the reputation of the spa. Perhaps a silence alarm would be nice but I doubt any spa has it.
