Many of the Russian soldiers are conscripts (draftees) that had no idea they were going to war. They are being used as cannon fodder. There are many videos of captured Russian soldiers out there remorseful for what is going on. Their moral is low and they are surrendering or hiding. Many say they have to fight or their our leaders will shoot them. That’s why you now have Syrians coming to join the fight for $600/month when they only get $15/month now with no way out of poverty. Those Syrians are willing to be cannon fodder and to die so that their families can live off the death benefits.

This is all on Putin, autocratic rule, all the “yes men” around him, and the Generals and Oligarchs. They need a leadership change and to instill a real democracy but not to be wiped out.

I have empathy for those conscripted Russian soldiers. If captured, they should be treated well as per the rules of war and the Geneva Convention. But, at the same time, they are the invaders and while they might not be part of the units deliberately targeting hospitals and schools they still wear the same uniform of the enemy and therefore should be attacked, killed and defeated until the survivors either surrender or retreat back to Russia.

It’s no different than the Germans in WWII. You can hate the SS, Gestapo and Nazis but have empathy for the normal regular German soldier and German citizen.

I don't buy those silly excuses. If it's only "Put-In-Bay" whose the asshole, then 300 million people can take him on easily. There are still lots of Russians supporting him. Did you see the stadium full of people cheering him on, during his speech? If all of the Russian people were against him, he wouldn't be able to function. So I don't buy that argument.

Nazi Germany did a good job of abolishing the media. So the only information that people got was from the Nazi's. That's why the Germans loved the Nazi's. They were brainwashed. It's kinda like what Drunk Trump wanted to do if he had another 4 years. The way he was feeding the public with all his fake claims of election fraud, he almost started war against his own country.

You can't change Russia, by only changing it's leader. Russia has a very long history of causing problems. Nobody remembers Afganistan? The cold war? Come on. Russia needs to die in order to be born again. It's what you guys call a great reset.

Interesting article that shows some of the various items Russia exports and some of the largest importers. Sometimes it is hard to know who is the one getting hurt by the sanctions, Russia or the country imposing the sanctions. Not hard to see why many of the European countries do not sanction the oil, gas, and coal imports from Russia. Not many countries are going to be able to replace the 4 million barrels of Russian oil.
