it wasn't so much that massageplanet.net did them in, the neighbourhood complained about the traffic at all hours of the night... lets face it... residential, high end houses, guys "in and out" (figuratively and literally) all day and night... only a matter of time

well - it won't be long until there up and running somewhere else!!! - rumour has it that the house across the street is the next shop!!!

usually you get some old lady that has nothing better to do but look outside the window and observe who goes in and what goes on in their neighbour's house.

The expression snitches belong in ditches comes to mind. However KH was too high traffic in a residential neighbourhood for people not to be concerned.

A number of MPs set up shop in very busy areas where it is too obvious what is going on. Then, they add a glaring neon sign, and wonder why there is not much business. In the Yonge and Eglinton area, I have seen numerous places open up beside bars or restaurants with patios. The guys are understandably shy, nervous or embarrased to be seen entering or exiting these places.

Then there's always someone who thinks they are saving the heighbourhood by reporting these things, and at some point the officials are forced to come in and do something to placate them. I have sat on a patio, listening to one woman complaining to everyone around about the spa across the road. If they did not know about it before, they did after hearing her. At the same spa, it's main entrance on Yonge St, I exited late one night only to bump into a waitress I knew from a bar a few blocks away.

Discretion is always best, and since then I always try to find places with the entrance at least somewhat hidden from the main roads.

- The internet isn't the only place where people found out about this place.
- They advertised in a lot of places and by word of mouth through repeat customers.
- They were in a residental house in a quiet neighbourhood.
- They were open until 3am.
- Customers were coming in and out from 10am to 3am.

For all you guys who have the nerve the bitch about the people who called the police on them - what would you do if this were happening in your neighbourhood? Let's say you live next door and all of a sudden you see a lot of traffic coming in and out of the house beside you and no two people are ever the same. Are you just going to ignore it? What if your neighbour is growing marijuana there and selling it? What if it's a place for heroin users to shoot up? What if it's a place where drug and gun transactions are taking place? Regardless, it's not good.

Now with the cops looking for evidents to build their case against the Korean Heaven, will they get a search warrant to force massageplanet.net to disclose the registration information on all the posters who posted comments on KH before the operation is busted. And if they got the personal information on those posters will they force the posters to testify in court against the operators, like blackmailing the posters.

Way too complicated and not cost effective, even leaving aside the "hearsay evidence" problems. And everyone they could nab would say - if they were smart - "Gee, I was just making it up to show off to my buddies on the internet. I've never, ever even really been to a place like that."

Cop investigations follow a set pattern wherein they inflitrate u/c's posing as customers or women interested in working in the joint. The u/c's report back about what they saw and were told and bingo! There's your prosecution case. You get a warrant and scoop all the loose cash and condoms and round up all the girls and found-ins.

Isn't this in the wrong section? It's true, the girls there attempts to rub but from what I understand, would be consider a massage.

Truth of the matter is, even escalated noise levels in a residential neighbourhood are enough to bring cops to your house. Where I used to live in Richmond Hill, I would always see a cop car parked behind the Emerald Isle and I've seen numerous first timers to that area get pulled over for driving a little to fast or running a stop sign. Seeing different guys come in and out of a house all the time, till 3 in the morning? I would have a hard time with it myself. If there's illegal activity happening right next to your house, what's not to say that there's not going to be some crazy violent gunplay if something bad goes down? Remember the spa that got robbed in East/West Beaver Creek area and some of the girls or owner got shot?

I don't care how hot the girls are or how good their style is...I wouldn't want it close to my house...
