I saw 4 very large and very drunk falangs trying to slug it out long time in the Pink Lady Restaurant in Pats....in fact the fight was so long I was able to go and take a pis$ and come back and they were still swinging wildly trying to fight!
The only real connection came when the boss lady landed a solid chair over ones head in frustration that they wouldnt stop...then they all suddenly stopped.

new years morning 2007 about 1.30 am i was sitting in the 2 black sheep bar leaning againest the wall along the front when 2 kids pulled up out front on a motorbike the passenger pulls out a gun and starts banging away at the other side of the street i was looking at the gun thinking thats a realistic looking replica it even has a muzzel flash when the bloke who runs the place came running out yelling at us to get down they are firing real bullets . just luck they didnt hit anyone or maybe they were not aiming to hit anyone any way i sobered up real quick had a plane to catch in the morning so went home never did find out what it was all about but it was a good story to tell the folks back home

Only fight I've ever seen in LOS was between two BG's. Going at it hammer and tongs till the bar manager strode round and poured a big bucket of water over both of them. Stopped them dead in there tracks. He'd obviously been used to the odd fight breaking out. The two girls spent the rest of the night looking like drowned rats and feeling very sorry for themselves.

But it shows how attitudes to fighting changes over the years. When I was around 12 (granted a long time ago) we used to sit on the wall opposite the local boozer and wait for the Paddy's to come out for a fight. It was normally over in a few minutes and the proeforum.xxxanists would go back into the bar arm in arm. "Great fight that Dermot" It was fantastic entertainment.
