Happy Hour

You know, I've been to the BM for "Happy Hour" 3 times recently. I've sent messages ahead of time. I even indicated what I would be wearing. I sat in the lower area on the Monkey Bar side. I attempted to strike up conversations with every single patron in that section. I met one guy who acknowledged CRT, and he, "Wanted to keep a low profile." In other words, scram.

I've hooked up with some great guys, so I'm not resentful, but I wonder how I keep missing such a prolific event?

A couple of the times were around Christmas, so that might be an explanation.

Anyway, I'm going to wear a button next time. Might be something like, "No hablo Ingles," since I find an inverse relationship between english speakers and service, "Sin Columbianas" for a similar reason, or "Cien es bueno. Una hora es bueno. Cien por una hor es muy malo."

Gosh, and you wonder why I can't make friends...

I must second Slicwings sentiments, as I too have gone 2x times to CR, have ALWAYS checked the BM designated rally point at 5pm, and have to this day NEVER met a single CRT member.

Slick, I suggest you pm some of the members living down there and just be proactive on creating a turnout at happy hour while you are there. I have pm'd several people, and as always, the responses have all been friendly and helpful.

I have been able to meet with CRT guys every trip. I do know that there are some I have hooked up with but due to other plans we haven't met.

I have good luck meeting guys at breakfast , and also at the Del Ray.

I have the same problem trying to find CRT brothers. people look at me like I've lost my mind asking them, so i have just stopped asking. This may sound dumb, but DR has cardboard coasters. Maybe we should take a coaster rip it in half and keep it on the table to signify a CRT member. I'm open to suggestions

Yesterday at the DR between 5-6 pm I had three different guys whom I have never seen before ask me if I was a member of CRT. I'm not sure why some of you are having trouble connecting with other degenerates.By the way nuckinfucks,I don't have pimples but the rest is probably true. Oh and one other thing,,I did tell the new guys that I didn't know what they were talking about. My mother always told me to beware of strangers. lol
