Given that right now the only absoulute you have on sexual contact you've had with an infected person is your wife....It's very possible, and probably what a judge and jury would conclude - so you're not going to jail.

However, don't kid yourself. You more than likely did pick it up from a pro, given that you've been with your wife and never showed symptoms. If you carry the microbes and don't show symtoms, you nomally don't wake up one day and start expereincing discharge - but it is possible.

A urinary tract infection follows the Clamydia - it's a secondary infection, you may also develop a bladder and/or prostate infection as well.

Bottom Line: Because your wife had Clamydia in the past, it's reasonable to believe that you picked it up from her.

Hulkster if your wife had Clamydia 3 years ago you are definitely safe from any trouble with her, you don't need to move out. You can tell her that you don't know how you caught it. If she accuses you of any wrong doing, all you have to do is throw it back in her face how you didn't pass judgement or jump to conclusions and that she should show you the same respect you showed her 3 years ago. Problem solved.

How do you know if you have an STD if you dont have the results back yet? I thought i might have had one at one time as well...was scared, went and got tested and it came back negative, clean as a whistle. Sometimes when you have it in your head you may have one..all the symptoms are exagerated and you notice everything...that was me anyway. I went and got tested and all was clean. DOnt assume you have one until the tests come back...but with you wife...yes assume you have one...NO TOUCHY!...honey i have a headache? I didnt have an SO to deal with so its different there. I don't want to be rude or anything but are you pulling our legs just to start a conversation? Result shouldn't take more than 2 weeks & this is almost 4 weeks. We are just concern about your well being & perhaps learn from this. Abstain from sex with the wife until the results come in.

What are the symptoms? Any pain? Any discharge? What colour?

If it is a simple STD, you might be able to sneak in some antibiotics in her food if she needs treatment. There are more single dose cures for STD these days. There is a slim chance you might be able to get through this without getting caught.

Three years ago she had it, bu the first time we slept together wasn't long after she had it. of course we've slept together regularly, but i think i may have had it for a long time, because not only do i have the whitish discharge every so often, but sometimes i get a painful prostate, find it hard to get it up for msog, which leads me to believe that i may have had this for three years or so.
