Sorry, but you lost me about half-way through your tale. I know that web-language tends to be more like "spoken language" these days (and I am certainly not the one to complain about grammar), but even when you speak, you simply need to pause sometimes.

You may very well have a point buried in there somewhere, but I'll bet you that more than half of the BMs here would not even read through (and much less understand) your post.

My humble advice would be to throw some of those dots in once in awhile. And even the occasional Carriage Return for good (ol’) measure.

BTW, I do find some of the “web-writings” that just rambles on --- without a care in world about sentence structure --- quite refreshing sometimes, and can even enhance the reader experience. If done properly, that is (if not always intentionally) like that Tsunami thread and wylos’s round the world tour.

That is as maybe but last time i checked my mortgages have only increased by .5% and the rents we charge in the uk haven't gone up at all (Though we plan to increase), inflation will always have an effect though in the uk and elsewhere currently in the UK it is 1.8% and taking into account housing costs is 1.3%. However the increase decision's here i feel would hardly be based on such matters, as the electric is still the same as last month the staff costs dont increase by 20% and the cost of the beer, Heineken around the 35THB mark to buy from suppliers, (yes i know i altered this post) is still the same as last month, i think you would agree that most decisions over here are made over a beer and no real thought is put in to the increases other than how much more can we make out of the punters?

how long was beer at the previous price.. It may have been 2 or 3 years of price inflation in one raise.

Also you said prices at home.. I am at home.. According to your profile so are you ?? Those electric prices are in the last year here bills just went from 4 baht to 5 baht per kwh on the estate I am on, 25% increase.

And please dont tell me you think real out of pocket inflation is what the governemnt tell you it is.. CPI number are hopelessly 'adjusted' to make them laughable compared to pound in your pocket inflation.

for anyone not happy with the price increase in taipan, just go to banana, 100 baht for any drink, even breezers, and thats where the best looking birds are IMHO. The only thing about banana is that the place is jam packed evey night and its hard to dance

You must be kidding around 35THB is what they pay from the supplier ask whiskey way or patong wiskey do you really think 35THB is what i expect them to charge at a bar are you real?? you don't seem to understand economics at all spouting off garbage about cpi any one can spout that off, we all know what goes on over here and if u don't well up to you, they want to make money we want to spend it and i do 195,000THB so far in 20 days so im not tight, i live here and go out every night so i know, with out upseting any one it is all about what is sustainable, even though i have a go and respond you have to agree they are taking the prevervable p**, the point is keep it real, they dont care about you so don't for one minute think they do, your a punter nothing else, your an atm, kiddie keeper don't forget it, bye they way ill buy u a beer when we meet (but no lady drink)

So you have spent a couple hundred grand in 20 days.. Whop de do.. And yet your also bothered enough to refuse a drink becuase it cost 20 baht more than you thought ??

As for CPI your the one that said inflation is 1.8%.. I would says thats complete crap in any real measure of how inflation is actually effecting people.

Prices are rising.. If it bothers you head to cambodia or somewhere cheaper.. If it doesnt bother you then no need for the thread. As always as a customer you have the right to vote with your feet, if enough people also feel the same way then the business will fail, if your a lone voice then it wont make much odds.

Tai pan as a disco has obviously decided to put the price up to 120.. What does tiger charge for beer ??
