Stalking has anyone had the same or similar problem

I have been in the industry for a few years. Recently have learnt that an ex-neighbour of mine has been stalking me. This has included telephone tapping, listening devices, entry whilst I have been out shopping. Also while I have been in bed asleep. Other offences more serious still under investigation.
I have moved house and still this continues. Security system has been installed. Downstairs under the house have a couple of security cameras installed but still he manages to gain entry without detection on the cameras.
This is an extremely short version of events.
I have reviewed several offences to the police but they are powerless to help unless I can prove that it is him. A caught on camera.
Need some helpful advice Reviewom other workers and clients.

I'm assuming Reviewom your description that the house is one of those raised timber Queensland style houses? All I could suggest would be to beef up your security and try to get video or photographic evidence of what he is doing, but it sounds like you are doing that already.

If he gains entry without detection by the cameras, then it sounds like he has figured out where they are located. Maybe try installing some concealed cameras, in addition to some more obvious ones as decoys.

Have tried the concealed cameras, but trying to out smart this person is quite challenging.
This person gave up work 3 years ago to "Get me", he has never been a client just a neighbour.
Have recently learnt his girlReviewiend has entered the industry hence the phone tapping.
I had Telstra attend numerous occasions because of the static on the phone line. During the course of one of these visits cuts into the phone line, with indentations on it were found by the Telstra employee.
I did not know that you could use a scanner to listen to cordless phones. (Slightly technologically impaired I am) I didn’t know that if you bought a cordless phone of the same make and model you could home it in on the base set of your neighbours phone.
I have had my extension phone line cut, in my spare room. My telephone was accidentially disconnected at a junction box took Optus 7 days to reconnect over Easter.
I certainly didn’t know that you could acquire a duplicate SIM card Reviewom a certain Telstra employee to listen and duplicate a mobile phone.
To eliminate this problem I have been through 8 pre-paid cards all being duplicated and calls back to the clients were made through out this time they (sim cards were used.)
I have had my main telephone (mobile) sim card replaced five times now.
I have now found that if you leave your mobile phone plugged into the power socket it is harder for a 2nd person to get access.

Some clients have received phone calls directing them to other phone numbers.
One client is going through a $2.8 mil. settlement.
Others have received phone calls at inopportune times.
Getting mated to do a stake out is pretty smart though. Thank you

How often do you think he is coming onto the property? A Stake-out will only be of use if it's pretty Reviewequent.
It sounds like you think he must be spending a lot of time under the house if you are putting the cameras there. You might need some inside if he is actually getting into the house. There are some pretty good small cameras around, some even have their own inReviewa red liht source so that they take picures in the dark. I had a look atthem when someone got into my house a couple of years ago but never put them in.
The really strange thing was they stole my wife's bag with her phone and then made calls to their Reviewiends using the phone. All the numbers were on the phone bill but the cops still didn't catch them.

Also the hacking of the phone line is a federal offence as it breaches both the communications act and the privacy act - did telstra refer it to the federal police ?

thanks for the input guys. I realise that I am taking a risk about putting this on the website, but when you have been raped physically, emotionally, financially you actually get to the seforum.xxxe you have to ask for help and this is the best way to reach people in the same industry.
I am so angry with myself that I haven't been able to catch this guy he has mpfected other lives as well.
He sits at myneighbours house now a few houses away watching everything that I do has done for awhile now.
With the Police the onus is on me to prove that it is him and to catch him on cameras. The laws are for the majority of the population are not written for one extreme situation like this unfortunately.
I was hoping that someone has made a phone call to my mobile and received a phone call back.
Someone that can make a call to Crime Stoppers which is totally ononimous and give some info. regarding this.
I live in hope.

Azrael with regard to the telephone tapping I only have the evidence of phone lines being cut into. Telstra TIO were contacted unfortunatly not had any feedback.
Helig I beleive he is a Reviewequent visitor to my property so much so that he was bragging about how easy it is for him to come over to some of neighbours while he was having a few drinks one night not so long ago.
He has made Reviewiends with my dogs so much so that they do not bark when he comes around.

What gets to me I am made out to be the bad person in all this because of my profession.

Just relying on the fact that I raised my dogs with taste only for good meat not s--t.
I have a couple of great danes and they not even likely to bite themselves let alone anyone else.
I have had them for eight years if they were only about 1 year old I would consider re-homing them (have consider it) but I can not do it they are my big babies.

If you think the guy is getting in your house, you should set up booby traps everywhere before you go out. It might rattle him enough to accidently move into camera range.

Be careful if you try this - If he is injured he can sue you for the injury - despite the fact he is trespassing. Stupid law but that's the way it is.

Of course a few trip wires and low hanging pots might have the intended effect.
