Shocked at Allure bashing

We are all entitled to our own opinions on this open forum. But I must question "tudman" and his/her opinion of Allure spa (alluremassage.ca)

Why would a regular joe give a hoot about the supposed fees that the spa charges a girl? I get my rocks off, I pay my money, i leave happy. I dont sit there and analyze where my money actually went. And by the way, if the money mpa's make isn't going to the house, its certainly going to be spent on shopping, restaurants, drugs and alcohol anyways. Sounds to me like the above handle is a) a disgruntled ex-employee herself or b) a downright pussy whipped - ya I said it - pussy whipped moron who followed his favourite mpa to a run down spa where the management doesn't give a crap about the girls and lets the customers engage in risky behaviour with the cracked out attendants. So lets see here, which one has the worse management in terms of the safey and well being of both the girls and the clients alike?

Allure appears to be running a tip top ship, I just saw Ava a few weeks ago and she was happy as a clam about her job. I have never heard the girls complain about the management there. Not to mention my other faves there: Robin, Shakira, Heidi. All natural beauties IMHO, I am against breast surgery and Robin said herself once that she is so glad she works in a positive environment where her boss celebrates her body choice where as one of my previous faves at HFH confided in me that the pressure was so great that she is now considering implants.

Don't get me wrong, I still see Annabelle, Nina and Sophie at SRM and I do like the spa overall. But I have noticed that the girls at Allure seem more genuine, more human, and more happy overall. So the management must be doing something right there. And I don't think that its the girls that make the spa. I don't care how great my girl is, I won't go and see her at a cracked out spa where I can catch crabs from the dirty table to bring home to my wife. (Allure girls spray the bed, shower, and oil bottles with cleaner after my session)

The above post suggest that the Allure girls work there because of the steady stream of clientele. Hmmm, I wonder why they have such a steady regular stream of customers, maybe becuase its a a great spa...also I have noticed that SRM has no shortage of clients so they must be doing something right as well.

Bottom line is, there are plenty of spas - and girls - to go around for all of us. Luckily for the discerning gentlemen like myself, there are still CLASSY CLEAN places with great girls and good management like Allure - keep up the good work

Thanks guys. I let him have the last word on the other thread because I can't stand the whole I'm right, you're wrong and I'll prove it threads that go on and on forever. I said my peace and I'll leave it at that. If there's anything I've learned in life it's that people rarely change their opinions once made and if they do they almost never admit it.
I'm not on this board to justify how we run our business. Much of what we do is a product of 15 years of trial and error and we're still learning and improving. We have found a formula that not only works for us but that others have tried to mimic. My moto is...If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

WOW! This could get messy ....

Alot of spas have rules...some owners are strict, some are not. Some spas run smoothly, some dont. There are pros and cons to each. Originally I didnt agree with fines and such for girls...over time I've learned which ones work, which are fair, and which are just owners being greedy. I think paying for a spa to advertise is a bit much, but fees to keep people punctual works. Its a catch 22.

I agree that some of the top spas come with alot of 'enhancement' pressure. I have heard of owners offering to front the $$!! I think Allure has a niche with confidant, natural chicks. All spas should keep the Annabelle's and Robin's of the biz as they are!!! I think more owners need to be aware of whats going on with other issues we have all discussed on this board before. Cleaning the bed and oil bottle is NOT new! or unique to Allure! I have ALWAYS done that!!! always!

I say we leave Allure, SRM, and other good spas alone! They are some of the best places to work in the city! How about picking on some of the other places (new and old) that are run by greedy morons instead!! Some of you boys dont know what goes on, dont need to know, but would be shocked!

If you hang around the MP business long enough, you'll learn WAY more than you ever wanted to.

Without MP house rules, a fair percentage of MPA's would show up if/when they wanted to and appts would never start on time.

That said, IMO *NO* MP out there is perfect. One can't assume all EX employees are disgruntled. Even in the real world, employees will stick around for many reasons, although they hate certain aspects of the job or company. They've just learned to "smile and nod..."

It's an MP owner's job to LISTEN to those legitimate grievances and make whatever changes are necessary. It's a fine juggling act balancing everybody's interests.

Maybe an MPA left because she didn't think that was happening...

WRT cosmetic surgery:

I've ranted about the prevelence of cosmetic surgery in the MP business before and my opinion hasn't changed. LOL.

Nowadays I tell my favourite ladies how pretty they are and WHY I find them attractive. I'm a big believer in positive reinforcement and building self esteem

I have visited both SRM and Allure and many top spas in GTA - of all these, I have to rate Allure as my favourite. Not only is the customer service excellent, I also find that most of the girls that work there are the "girl next door" down to earth types who are easy to get along with and provide very good service without crossing the boundary.

A lot of other places try to hire "young" bimbo's who may be hot looking but fail in the customer service department and in massaging skills.

As stated by Dina in one of the threads, Allure has one of the lowest turn over ratio and I agree. Obviously it must be a good place to work in.

Allure may have one of the lowest turnover ratios, however of the four MPA's that I have seen at Allure three of them (Stephanie, Britney, Jessica) left within two months of my session with them.................hopefully that is just a coincidence !!!

I dont' want to come across as preaching to the choir, but it seems like some of ya'll seem to be missing the bigger picture here. Everyone is asuming that girls leave an mp because they dont' like the working conditions there. It could very well be the other way around. What if the mp doesnt like the girl and asks her to leave? SOme girls might do extras, some might drink on shift, some just rude or bullying to other girls, etc. I have known of girls getting canned from a great mp like Allure or HFH just because they didn't fit in. It hurts to think that our beloved favourite mpa might actually be a shit disturber in real life, but i have been shocked in the past. Oh here's another deep thought - maybe the mpa get pregnant, or moved away, or got a real job and said to hell with all these losers.

I don't even know why i care anymore, i have much bigger fish to fry at work these days. I think i enjoy playing devil's advocate on this board, cuz i think way too many guys are bamboozled by the bamboozling mpa's out there. When your life sucks, its easier to escape into the fantasy stories of others. Reality is too harsh to grasp. Of course i trick myself into thinking that my smart, cute fave mpa's actaully like me as a person and dont view me as a pervert. Even though deep down i know they would never touch me for free. (gulp) I just happen to appreciate the classy mp's left. Let's keep them that way, the guilt is less for us to bare.

I just pointed out some reasons why an MP won't want to return to Allure. Plus buddy boy what are you doing on here anyways? you don't buy masssages, you don't give advice on which attendant is really good? My last word was to rebutt what you said. Allure has always been one of my favourite spas. I have yet to have a bad session there, and keep coming back after experimenting with other spas. One of the things I like is the type of girls - or ladies if you prefer - that they have there. They seem a bit more mature, less 19 and 20 y.o.'s, more real and easier to talk with. Personality goes a long way for my sessions, and I can consistently find girls with personality at Allure.

I agree with all of you guys! Allure is one of the best spa. My all time favs are now working at HFH - I personally think that the customer service, mgmt, furniture etc is better than other spas IMHO. However, I'd also agree with Mr. tudman. Without disclosing any name, I have heard from couple of girls regarding Allure's rules - They always complaint that every month, management (Dina and her sister - I think her name is Debbie) comes up with a new rule. They have a rule like if customer pays through Debt card, they will charge $5-$10 to these girls - Also, I heard that Allure charges money from them for the website - uploading schedule etc. I'm not sure which one is fair and which one is not, but it is true that lot of girls complaint about these rules. Some of them have given names to their bosses.

Also, I'm not agree with the poster, where he says that the lot of money goes to shopping, drugs etc. I think, most of girls are doing these jobs as they either are (a) new immigrants and have no skills (b) want to support their kids and provide better life to them (c) would like to go to college or pay their tuition loan ASAP (d) have mortgage/loans to pay and their ex/husbands are not smart enough to make enough money and (e) they are simply lazy and are not interested to build career and professional life.

Perhaps, Dina wants to rethink her managerial style and see if they can pass on these expenses to these girls in some other way so that they won't feel that Dina is greedy or Dina should explain them in detail about merchant transaction fee with the Visa card company/banks and website maintenance. This way they will understand the reasons rather than being 'bitchy' with clients or 'bitchy' about their own management.....
