One Hour at HFH = 45 min?

I noticed a couple of complaints about time being cut from the sessions so I thought I should weigh in. I had a session with Hannah at HFH this weekend. Yes, she is back at HFH and she still does a great job.

I paid for the one hour . The session was great (time aside for the moment) with a good massage and lots of sliding on the back and lots on the front plus sliding standing up which was very interesting. But after 40 minutes Hannah finished me off (very nicely) and then jumped into the shower. I followed with a shower as well and left 50 minutes after the session started.

So, how do you count an hour? I had 40 minutes "hands on". I had 5 minutes before for a shower (on my own) before she joined me in the room. There was 15 minutes after with either Hannah or myself using the shower. So the total comes to 60 minutes in the room if you include all of the shower time.

But, If you take a 30 minute session you usually get at least 20 to 25 minutes "hands on" and about 15 minutes for showers, totalling 40 minutes altogether. And that's for half the price!!!

Should I be complaining? Or just have 2 sessions of 30 minutes each with 2 different girls ?

The one hour session should start counting when the MPA enters the room. If you include the time for showering and changing, the length of the session would probably be around 55 minutes. I had a session with Hannah before at SRM. She provided me with a full 30 minutes session. After I paid her, she left the room. I spend the next little while for showering and changing. I ended up staying more than 30 minutes in the room.

I believe it's HFH policy that shower time is not included in session time. So an hour session actually will take about 65-70 mins. You should have mentioned it to Kayla right after the session. She probably will compensate you for the short change on your next visit.

Ever wonder why indy SPs will charge $120/half and $180/hour OR $140/half and $200/hour. The one hour treatment might last 45 min (I'm not talking about ALL SPs, and I'm excluding pre/post time).

I think the same premise exists here, except that the cost of one hour appts are usually very close to 2x the half-hour appts (ie, double door fee, double everything, in terms of cost)

2 SOG is always better than one, the way I see it go for the 60 min session providing you can get two rounds. If not gor for two seperate 30 min sessions and have twice the fun.

I think the solution is to get the 45 min body slide session at B&S. Same amount of time at half the cost. And, it will be perfect once Sydney returns!! Where is she anyway? Isn't it time for summer to begin??

Sydney did say that she would return this summer. Many of us are anxiously waiting for her return, the return of the Queen for some. But this thread is turning into a different direction.

I entered the room, showered, air dried on the table for 5 min and assumed my time didn't begin until she entered the room.

When I was foolish enough to comment that I still had some time left, I was promptly repremanded and told that my time started when I entered the room. Ugly situation.

The irony is we've often gone over time on our 30 min sessions!

Why pay more for less? $4/min is too much for lying alone on a table!

Tarah sure can be stern sometimes.

Sometimes, 30 min. turns into 45 min. when she's hitting it off with you.

Sometimes, 1 hour turns into 45 min. when she's not in the mood.

This is not an attack. Just what I and others who have pm'd me have experienced with her and a few other HFH MPA's. Note the word, "Sometimes".

While I too have in the past been shorted on time at HFH, I'm not quite sure where you got the jist that Stealth was talking about Tarah. But if you really feel the need to slam her, well I guess thats just something you and others feel the need to do.
My shorting was by Cameron & a couple other highly regarded MPAs there & at other "not related" highly regarded spas.
Believe me, they are all guilty of it at one time or another.
Being the nice guy & respectful all the time aint all its cracked up to - it really doesn't help prevent it from happening.
If you get shorted, vote with your wallet - I thought Cameron was the ultimite, but needless to say, I have not gone back.
No need to slag her & obv. she does not miss my business for a second.

Just one man's opinion, but I gotta disagree with you on this one. My preference is for a long slow buildup to a single pop. Feels more than twice as good as a quick one. Also, with two pops there is always some downtime in between, so the actual amount of time spent with hands on the package is less with two pops than with one looooonnnnnng one.

... and I've been to HFH only twice, so I don't have much experience to comment on.

Both times I had the half hour with Brittany. As well as being the best experiences I have ever had (MPA and SP combined), we went over-time both occasions. The 30 minutes I paid for were with the attendant.
I was last there on Friday and showed early. I sat and watched a movie in the waiting room and no less than three girls came in and said "Hi" and offered me a drink of water.
After my session, Brittany and I ended up sitting on the couch in the room and talking for an additional 5 minutes. I broke off saying that she had clients waiting. Overall, customer service was A1.

I guess, as with most of the people in this industry, YMMV as well as your time.
