Sorry to see Cowboys lose, I think they choked. One of the big tragedies in NFL is teams doing very well in Regular season, only to lose in the first game in Playoff, happened to Baltimore and SD last year. It was sad to see Tony Romo and Wade phillips in the post game conference, TO was his idiotic self as usual ! Its that unforgiving brutal world of NFL (Not For Lovers) !

Congrats to the Giants ! The unbelievable happpened. It was fitting that the Patriots lost by 3 points just as they won all their 3 Sueforum.xxxowls by 3 points. I take back all my criticism of Eli, that guy really was great in the crunch moments. And big hats off to the Giants defense without which this was not possible.

It was unbelievable, despite losing LT earlier on and then Philip Rivers, I thought they were toast ! Big credit to Merriman and the Defense, besides Volek and Turner and others

I like two games. Not crazy about them, but their are only 4 to choose from

I like the NYG to beat Dallas. I think they are tough defensively and that they are adequate on offense. Competed well in Dallas earlier this year, and I believe NYG is now better. I like that they are on the road, as it is no secret their QB seems to play better away from the pressure of the home fans.

San Diego could not score in the first half last week, and they will need lots of points to compete with the Indianapolis Colts. Although no one should need to look for motivation in the playoffs, it has to be in the Colts head, that they need to revenge their only home loss of the season. The Chargers won a 23-21 game when Manning(not the same one from the previous paragraph) threw 6 INT'S. What if he ONLY through 4, would the Colts have won by 12? I am going out on a limb here and predicting that Mannig will throw less than 6 picks and the Colts will be the Chargers like a "Red-Headed Step Child"

I agree bohemian. I think the Giants will give the Pats a liitle better game than the Packers would have. And funny equation but mostly true. (Except for the chicas LOL, all the Mexican chicas I know from the NY Spanish Bars I hang out at wouldn't know the difference between an American football and a bowling ball lol).

Yep got 50% success which is average, thought I was better . Next year I am not going to subscribe to that NFL ticket anymore, too much time on football !
Here are my predictions for whatever it counts !
Jaguars 17 Patriots 30
Jaguars got as far as they could get, they just manage to scrape past the Steelers, but Patriots is a different animal. Having big line men and running game doesnt necessarily win playoff games any more, not against the patriots. And if their men dont shutup before the game, it would probablybe 41 for Patriots
Seahawks 27 Packers 24 Final OT
Sometimes sitting doing notthing (bye week) in that frigid weather in GB, just cools down the "balls" too much and by the time it gets warmed up the game is over. I am big Favre fan but that doesnt help
Giants 16 Cowboys 30
By law of averages, its time Manning Jr goes back to this old "style". Romo should know by now that if he wants to win, getting an AB chica to the game fucks it up. The Dallas offensive line is too good for the pass rushers of Giants, that should give Romo time
Chargers 13 Colts 31
The Colts are gonna torch the Chargers. Even if Antonio Gates was there, it would not make a difference. With the prime time recievers back with Manning Sr. This time its gonna be Rivers who will be intercepted, atleast once by Sanders.

Ps I am more of a Chargers than Colts fan Ok, I admit I am not thinking from my heart, otherwise I would have picked Chargers, Jaguars, Packers and Giants !

Yeah Fireballs, the Chargers won a playoff and with the added impetus might go one game further too beating the colts. Mongers can be fans of their hometown teams and can also support Chargers the "designated" Zona team
The SanDiego Cheerleaders teams is hot man ! the girls with skimpy outfits could give a complex to the Adelita hotties They definitely shake their asses and tops a lot better than the zona "zombies" !
You guessed right I am not in Southern California used to be LA for a year, a year ago when I used to be in the zona every weekend. Now I am somewhat far away and "Californa Dreaming.,..... another winters day...."

The Chargers played a good game and it looks like they finally got the Monkey off it's back that they can't win in the playoffs. I'm really a LA guy at heart, but since LA doesn't have a team them I guess I have to support the San Diego Chargers, besides San Diego is next to Tijuana so it's a given we have to support San Diego, except for maybe Bohemian I don't think he lives in Southern California, and I don't think Sampson is a California native either?

And so the postseason playoff teams have been decided. Only surprise entry is the Titans instead of the Bengals. Chargers will be similing they are the No 3 seed and will face the Titans. Now wouldnt they wish they had Drew Brees. They just extended the GMs contract, hope they win one play off game ! But with this "River" they wont run all the way in the playoffs. Most of the teams will Stuff LT.

Back to a "non monger" topic sorry ! I couldnt resist writing, watching the Broncos at Chargers. Just as I thought Cutler with that "idiotic bravado" written on his face tries to make a stupid play where there is not, and ends up having a Charger punch the ball out of his hand, luckily his "balls" were saved serioously, Cutler is a good QB and will do well, I think he is better than Rivers and Leinhart.

If Giants needs to win, they have to play hard physical defense knockout type hits, especially on that deceptive Wes Walker. One solid hit like the Ravens did to him, will make him think twice before scurrying like a rat through cornfields after the play. How amazing it is that a couple of hits or hurries on Tom Brady or Peyton Manning, makes them look "mortal" after all !
And of course if Eli decides to return to his "interceptory" ways, then it doesnt matter what the Giant defense does !

Man, I dislike these games where Offenses run unfettered from one end to another in a predictable way. For me an old fashioned football with strong running game and smash mouth defense like Steelers/Raven/Chargers

First off Id like to say I am not an Eli Manning fan, but in his defense there were a lot of dropped passes Sunday night and I would not pin this loss strictly on Eli Manning. As far as the Chargers are concerned they have a tall order as they will have to defeat Indy and then New England in order to meet Dallas or Green Bay in the Sueforum.xxxowl. In order to do this Rivers will have to play the games of his life and all the planets will need to align in the Bolts favor. If Rivers gets injured its basically over for the Chargers sueforum.xxxowl hopes( Still think we should have given up Drew Brees?). LT is the greatest back in football right now but he cannot win a game by himself, we need to have a QB who can accurately throw and complete passes to OPEN up the run for LT, otherwise they will just stack eight guys in the box and we are defeated. Every team respects LT and his running ability and he hasnt done as well this year because the other teams have no respect for our passing game so they just line up ready for a run play.
