Is Massage Parlors safe now?
It looks all across GTA is under attack?
Does it really worth to go on these MPs?
Or is it time to end up hobby now or you may be next embarrasing man caught in raid?

Barring any change in laws, it's never completely safe anywhere or anytime except at your own home. We all hobby with the knowledge that a bust could happen at anytime to anyone. Like maurice93 said, if you're really scared just do outcall.

You can get busted anytime or anywhere. I've been very lucky over the past 10 yrs of this hobby. I only got a shake down once. Here are my top 5 rules to avoid being caught.

1- Avoid unlicensed Spa's
2- Avoid high traffic and residential areas
3- Avoid Fri & Sat
4- Look around before entering, try to spot a cop.
5- Don't have sex in the MP

It does NOT look like "…all across GTA is under attack". It does look like the cops finally, after some years, responded to neighbourhood pressure from folks bordering part of Danforth Avenue (not Danforth Road) and O'Connor Drive. Anyone who actually read the stories should be able to see that. And since neither the stories nor the press-release gave names, who are the "embarrasing[sic] man" you're talking about? Frankly, it almost looks as if the cops did what they could to spare people embarrassment.

one can easily identify that either reply is from Clients or MP/ladies/owners on this forum.

all replies like mental issues, retarded etc are from MP/ladies.
all replies with sensible/decent comments and suggestions are from real clients.

I guess raids are happening due to black sheeps in this industry. If they just provide decent massage with HJ, no one will raid. Come on guys... at least acknowledge this fact...

Oh boy... here we go again. HJ is ILLEGAL, so no, we (and yes I do speak for at least the semi-literate on this board) will not acknowledge this fact. HJ is as much a legal cause for a raid as anything more full service. The criminal code (Section 210, I believe) does not distinguish between different levels of sexual acts. The police round-them-up and let the courts sort it through.

This is magnified even more in this case, where you have the community and politicians involved in it. A politician or police will not stand up and say "Our investigations only revealed that clients get jerked-off. In our opinion, chocking the chicken, or spanking the monkey, as it is referred to vernacularly, is not enough for us to mount a raid. However, as soon as a tongue touches a genital, we'll be right on it." Once the community and politicians are involved, the slightest sexual act, including HJ is enough for a raid.

I doubt if there are really that many raids in the boundaries of Toronto anyway. I went to the police web site with the news release on it and searched past news releases and archives. When I searched on "massage" the only hits were about robberies occuring in them, and there seemed to be at least one every few months throughout the city. When I searched on "Bawdy" I didn't find a single hit.
One other thing to note is that the cops also found drugs. They're alot more concerned that MPs might be used to launder drug money. After all, it is a cash business.

You do what you're going to do, but police often raid because the community and the politicians get involved. I don't think Chang's flaunts itself in any way as to upset the community or politicians. Remember j-walking is illegal, and I've done it in front of cops lots of times but have not been ticketed. The question is whether the cops will enforce the letter of the law all the time for all locations.

In this case the community was upset, there are about two dozen places like this along the Danforth. It is a community with schools and children walking on the sidewalks. It is also a community that does have its fair share of crime. Legitimate Massage and Holistic centers were dealing with clients looking for a Rub & Tug. All of these make the area rife for LE action.

As for Changs...I've gone there for a while. But lately, it seems like there are a lot of MP's in that plaza. It doesn't stop me, but it makes me worry.

Agreed with anonemouse, lots of other MPs in CHANGs plaza, make me worry now. It used to be a safe area but now it looks high traffic area.... So due to others, CHANG is also on high risk now....
