Idem-- two ways to look at it

Last night Mexpat and I left the BM to have dinner at Tin Jo. We first stopped at Idem for a beer and a look.Mexpat has been trying his luck recently at some of the "lower end" clubs around town. (5000 colones for all you can eat) I,as usual have been staying mostly with the talent at the Del Rey. Well,I was having difficulty finding anything up to my standards,when Mexpat declares that compared to where he has been going,this is the Playboy mansion.

I'm with Mexpat, when you find the little jewel in the cheap seats it makes the game a little more enjoyable. also one feels more like a winner paying $12,50 verses $100.00

I don't know where you get your money.... but I'd prefer to pay less than more for the same value

Truth is I have been compromising on looks (but not necessarily attitude) for price a bit lately while I shopped the Tico joints and the chicas at Idem are a cut above the average I found at VIP'S and the low end MP's. Of course, they are twice the price To a certain extent you do get what you pay for at least in looks.

The ambiente at Idem in the bar is OK for me too. Quiet enough so you can have a conversation and no pressure from the chicas except for smiles and eye contact. Some of the Tico bars are pretty loud and even in Key Largo and the BM at times it is hard to have a conversation without shouting. VB pointed out to me last night that although the chicas do sit along the wall and don't walk around much they sort of play musical chairs and rotate position every few minutes so if a guy kicks back at one of the tables in the front facing the side wall he gets a good chance to check them all out in the course of a half hour or so. Works better for me than sitting at the bar with my back to the girls.

I have made three trips to CR since September,Have had a total of 13 sessions at Club Idem, I guess you could say I like the place.
I don't really enjoy the negotiating process required at the Blue Marlin and I never know what quality of sexual experience I will get until wer'e back in the hotel room. So, if I haven't chosen a chica by 9pm at the BM many times I will hop in a cab and go to Idem where I know what I'm going to get for 18,000 colones. My favorite chicas there are Kathy,Angie,Vanessa,Ana. I have only gotten a bbbj from Kathy and always have to ask. Enjoy! 8)

I had always had great success there. I met a girl there last summer by the name of Tatianna (not the one at New Fantasy). Tall, slender, very light complexion Colombian with small tits. She had this gold nail extension on her pinky finger. When you I got ready to explode she would grad my balls with that extension. It was the greatest explosion that I ever had. I had to go back for seconds and thirds. I went back in October and Roberto said was still working but had got food poison from a bad piece of fish. I have not seen her since. Guys try if you get the chance.

Can someone who has dated Idem chicas after hours comment? Do you wait for them at a club, hotel, etc? Or do you show up around 11:45, have a drink at Idem and escot them out? Is discretion necessary?

Hey Jazz, ...the Rabbit here, as one who has done just what u are asking, i recommend that u have them meet u @ place "X"; rather than pick them up @ Idem......i always had them meet me @ my hotel.....this worked for me.............my 2 colones worth..........Rab/GoT

Not for nothing but why would you want to meet the girl on her time "After" shift ? I mean please do not get me wrong or take offense here we "ALL" know that not a one of them is a virgin unless it's the EAR; but why on earth would you want to meet with her after work. Let's face it if any of them had as many sticking "OUT" of them as they had "Stuck In," they would all more than likely resemble "Porcupines." I could see if you were in town long enuf and wanted to hook up with her on her day off...Just my 2 cents worth

Idem take out...

Four years ago, when I first moved here, I went to Idem and liked one particular girl. I never had her in the bar. I went to Roberto one day and asked him if I could 'take her out'. He said for me to do as I please but don't take her out while she is working. I talked to her and asked her if she would come to my place. My place was a very easy place to come to in Heredia. She said it would be $50. Didn't I jump for that. She came, on time, listened to Pavorati and Domingo with me and I had a really good time. She now works the Del Rey...only in the afternoons. I still think she is doll.

I agree wholeheartedly with VB and Mexpat. There truly is life outside the Del Rey. It was at their suggestion that I venture out into other areas of San Jose including restaurants and chica's. I have yet to be disappointed at any of their recommendations on either front.
