Ideas on Chair Massage banner for an Expo

I need some input on wording for a banner that will be displayed behind me at a Wellness Expo in Dallas area later on this month.

Ok this is what I have come up with.

CHAIR MASSAGE
A Quick Way to Relieve Tension
in the Back, Neck and Head Area

$1/minute 10 Minute Minimum

Are you going to be the only therapist there? If you are, I would keep the massages at 10 minutes........don't give any options. Ten minutes is a good time limit for the client to experience the joy of massage yet not clog up your lines. Hopefully you will be very busy, so you don't want a line around the block cause you're doing 15, 20, 30 minute chair massage.

At shows where we have 10 therapists, we usually only provide 10 minutes. If you're not busy, you might offer extra time if the client is interested.

One of my signs matches the colors of my business card. It sits on a tripod and it says (along with the name of my company):

Massage

10 minutes ---- $15
15 minutes ---- $20
The chance to be stress free ---- priceless

It could be put on a banner.

Yes, I will be the only one in my group. There will be chair massage going on with different people throughout. But there is plenty of people to go around.

I have learned the hardway to set a minimum I have actually had people to want a minute or 2 minutes massage. Lesson learned

: I have, too! I said a dollar a minute, and someone showed up with a dollar. Thus, I developed a 1-minute massage - but not to use during an event! Now that is used when someone hears I am an MT and does that "turn-around-point-to-the-shoulders" thing ~ all y'all know what I'm talking about!

I'd change "head" to scalp. Saying that it is quick might be inferred as that you'll rush through it.

How about:
$10 Ten-Minute Tension Tamer
A brief and effective therapeutic treatment of the shoulders, neck and back ~ where the tensest tensions tarry!

For a banner, you might just use "Tackle those tensest tensions!"

Being at an Expo, plus other MT's being there, you'll need something catchy that will draw people to your set up. "Tensest" probably isn't a word and few people "tarry" these days, but together it is a quirky little phrase that will get attention.

Thanks guys for your tips. Keep them coming I'm still not totally happy with what I was thinking to put on a banner. I need alternate words for quick and I guess I could use ease the tension in the neck and shoulders and leave the word head out.

I think you need something snappier on a sign or banner. I have either used most of these at one time or another or seen them used!

I won't address the issue of $1.00 per minute. I think you know what the local market will bear. I am with the person who said that a minimum of 10 minutes, or even a set charge of $10.00 is a good idea. Perhaps don't even put the length of time on the banner:

Chair Massage $10.00
Feel the stress melt away.

or

Chair Massage
Today only - $10.00
Feel the stress melt away.


If they ask ahead, you can tell them it is 10 minutes. If you have a long line up, you can shorten it up a little and say, it is just under 10 minutes. You know that if you are good, then even 5 minutes will feel great.
