How should I approach friends about group sex?

Oh I have no problem with women wanting and enjoying sex as much as the next...ahem...guy lol....good for them! But it is difficult to classify "just as a guy would" because, by this thread alone there are a LOT of different viewpoints on sex from guys.

By the same token however I think it's just as degrading to the wingnut maless who participate in the gangbangs too...but that's just me.....

Now using terms already expressed in this thread, you could say "kudos to the guys and the women who participate in these things. It takes a certain type of person to be able to do that". Sure, it also takes a certain type of person to have sex with animals but do they deserve kudos too? To be clear, while in Cancun, aside from the ladies playing together an awful lot, we also swapped partners a couple times, (which was initiated by the ladies) and were on different beds in the same room, and then there was that one night in Texas where the ladies pulled a complete wife swap on us in which we each were lead into a different room by the other's wife. In those scenarios (which were not encouraged by either Mr. Dallas or myself), we were all willing participants.

It's funny, I've seen quite a few programs on sexual issues etc and many of them touched on this very subject: married women who have encounters with other women and how the husbands don't get concerned when it's another woman. Yet they stated statistics showing that a lot (don't know the numbers) of marriages in this situation ended when the woman found another woman to run away with. The point was that the dangers are still there, whether it is a male or female.

I've expressed this to CG before but should the Mrs ever encounter another female that she falls for, would the same statement above be true? I think a caveat would accompany it. Something like: marriages fail even though we did all this......

I suspect for a lot of couples that swinging was a last resort, she gave into his need to spice things up and isn't fully on board but willing to try.
But if they approached it for other reasons and their marriage was sound then I think it could strengthen the relationship because they are communicating their feelings.
