I don't know exactly where the right place would be to post this....I am bursting at the seems.Last month I had a LapChole.  A week prior I had my daughters wedding.  Last year I graduated.  I made a goal of this October 2004 to have an office( I was only doing outcall work/ part part time).After the wedding...boom, I was in the hospital and out of commission for nearly a month.On Halloween a former classmate called about an office share.  We signed last week.I am officially in business Dec 1st.Just wanted to brag a bit and perhaps let the newly graduated know that it will happen if you want it to.)RobynTissue Issues Therapeutic Massage

Congradulations, you must stooooooooked!  what an exciting event to take in at this time in your life.  remeber it's about the walk, the believing in yourself, and the Prize well lets say the results of it.  Hoooooooray............. take time to internalize the blessing we sometimes get so busy we let the moment pass us by, by being busy and the world wind of it all.  we forget to make quiet time for reflection.  And off we go to set another goal.  I find for me it is always a humbling experience and it reminds me life is the field of all possibilities.............amazing........ much blessings and joy and success.......... puamaeole

Today was spent with she, I and our spouses bringing in the furniture, assembling file cabinets and hanging clocks, etc.It is so exciting.I wish we had a place here to upload pictures of our spaces.  Another forum has a file upload and it is wonderful to share ideas regarding decorating.Robyn

A blessing ceremony can be done by someone of your choosing, such as a minister/rabbi/shaman or a do-it-yourself type of thing. Doing it yourself means anything from prayer to meditation to smudging with white sage, to clearing with crystals, or any combination of the above! The energy of a space is one of the first things to "greet" your clients. Especially if you are renting and there has been a business in the premises prior to yours, I would suggest doing something to establish how you want your space to feel to your clients.I work out of my home which is basically a studio coteforum.xxxe, ie a tiny house with no interior walls except to close off the bathroom. I have a lovely curtain which separates my sleeping space from my massage space, and a bamboo roll down screen that blocks off my kitchen area. Yes, my living room area is where I do my massage. However, each and every new client remarks on how wonderful my space is. My friends who drop by always say how good it feels to be in my home. I have to attribute it to the energy. When I have a particularly emotional client, I clear my space after the session. It's like changing the linens.If you would like more details on how to do a blessing ceremony, or if anyone just wants to clear their space, just let me know. Sally

I realize this is an old post.  Just wondering how things are going 6 months later.  I have been open two weeks now.  And today got quite alot of phone calls.  Some gift certificate sells and a few massages booked.  Any advice?  Diane
