It is unethical for a doctor to diagnose someone without a 1 on 1 assessment.

You’re too dumb to not see that. The bias mainstream media tried any way they could to discredit Trump, even if it meant being unethical. Unfortunately, they succeeded with stupid people, like yourself.

If diagnoses from afar worked, Biden would be in a nursing home.

This is a medical debate among the Psychiatric community over a 1973 APA rule, not law, as to whether the highest profile person on the planet ,most visible ,most quoted, most watched, daily behaviour can be diagnosed as such over several years. This is not about your simple 40 or so word highlighted scenario. Because a person has a law degree and judge in front of his name doesn't mean he can make such a decision. No, the medical profession alone can do this.

You are in complete denial if you don't think judges make judgements on medical and scientific evidence in courtrooms all the time. But if it's supposedly to be arbitrated by the medical profession alone, the APA being the largest psychiatric organization in the world represents and regulates their profession, and their stance on the matter is crystal clear.

Yesterday "Q Anon Shaman" tried to get out of jail. The judge (appointed by Reagan) rejected his arguments as "meritless," "mistaken" and "so frivolous as to insult the court's intelligence." In my opinion any judge would say the same about your argument that any doctor can "medically diagnose" any patient without even meeting them, but whatever.

JimmyD is totally correct about where your logic takes you: now that it's Biden's turn to be most visible, most quoted on the planet etc. it's open season on Biden now, since according to you any doctor who has never met a patient can still authoritatively make a medical diagnosis from afar that Biden undeniably has dementia etc. and should be removed from office immediately, just like Dode was advocating in his MSNBC "medical" opinion you supplied us with. Given everything you've argued that would be an equally valid conclusion.
