Yes, you’re right. When I was 26, I used to tell my wife her brother is a bhuddha. This was because - Sometimes I return from office and show less interest if I am tired. She then calls me a bhuddha. Then I tell her that her brother is bhuddha as he was 35.

Now I have entered the 30’s club. I’m approaching 35 which is bhuddha age according to me. But I’m pushing it to 40 ;-)

But most who see me consider me as 27 or 28.
If I remove my beard, they think I’m 24 or 25.

Yes, foreign transaction fee (or service tax) would be applicable.

However, using CC to get cash just seems a risky process to me.
If it’s accepted in bars, well and good and I would try it out in my next visit.

However, this scenario can certainly happen, and I have personally tried it out:

Use CC in DB’s and get cash. Use it and enjoy.
Return to US and dispute the charge. Say the card was lost a day before the transaction date.

The CC company would ask the DB for details. One important thing that would ask for is receipt with customers signature on it. If DB asks us to sign the receipt, then the transaction can’t be disputed. Else CC won’t listen to DB and would put the money back in the account.

Easy money.

Once I used my CC in US to fuck a chick. Entered a massage parlor. They had several girls. Chose one of the better looking ones. She gave pathetic service. I paid with CC, got back into my car. Called CC company, and said my card was lost since the previous day and just now seeing a transaction. Disputed it and got my money back.

Pathetic service = No money.

Do you think pathetic service = no money will work in bharat. In USA it can work, but hindustan mein mushkil lagta hai.

Merchant does not have to remember that it was you. Merchant has to look at the timestamp of the transaction and then find the CCTV footage for that timestamp.

You may be a good customer for credit card company but there is still a full fraud investigation process. When I have disputed transactions with Citi in India, they gave me a provisional credit with a condition that after 90 days final call on the disputed transaction will be taken. I don't see why the process will be different in US.

If there is a police/fraud investigation, the mobile company will supersede your privacy as legally they will be bound to give data for investigation.

You may have succeeded in the past and you may succeed again but it is not a slam dunk.

Bhai, Merchant will see the CCTV footage and do what? How will they know one among several in that CCTV is me? They will either need to remember my face or get my picture (from police after filing a case) to do a match.

What if the fraud who stole the CC is present at same place and same time along with me? The signature on receipt is the ultimate proof.

Also, how will they get my phone number?
By making a police case? And police will get number from where? By doing facial recognition from the CCTV? But for that they need to know my face. But what if DB doesn’t remember my face?

So they will ask CC company for my picture?
CC company won’t share users data simply. If there’s a case made, may be. And if CC is a foreign company (which is my case), forget it.

All I am saying is users signature on receipt is the ultimate proof. Everything else is bullshit. I don’t know if it’s necessary to sign receipts in India or not, but there’s a reason why every merchant asks us to.

Ironically, Walmart, Target, etc. they all still ask for signature on the terminal pad during checkout.
To be honest, I haven’t tried not signing. I need to see what happens.

These type of merchants may not require signature (when they actually stop asking for it) because they have camera right in front of the checkout counter. So signature doesn’t matter in this case as we are clearly captured. The time of transaction, time of customers presence in front of the camera and the camera footage is enough to prove it wasn’t a fraud transaction.

This isn’t the case in restaurants and especially DB’s (unless they have cameras inside that clearly captures the patrons using CC). Don’t see it working in semi lit SB/DB even with cameras.

The chip in CC removed fraud transaction because it’s difficult to duplicate the CC with chips. That’s why the mode of fraudulent I mentioned was using the card but by someone else, who stole it, etc.

To summarize - If a DB/SB doesn’t ask me to sign the receipt, I would accept the challenge to successfully dispute the charge - that too with proof. Because here they won’t have my signature and no camera footage too in their favor.

Even if they have inside camera footage, I wonder if they can use it showing 30 bar girls illegally serving customers.

And how such a footage could be used in a police case too.

In November, I’d try asking SB/DB’s that don’t require signatures ;-)

Haven't tried any CC fraud but my modus operandi is different while paying bill at DBs/OBs.. never pay bill at table or counter...instead I ask coatwala to get my bill alongwith swapping machine outside the bar... depending on the infrastructure of bar...may be swapping card near washroom or back area of Bars...where they don't have any CCTV camera installed...CP I feel if you pay bills in this manner than it become impossible to provide any evidence to CC company or police...giving you hint of few bars infra..

Bebo OB...come out from the door near make up room ...take left inside a corridor...there is no CCTV installed

Baywatch.....ask coatwala to come to washroom area...you can pay bill after pee..


I can't afford to do such things in bars...as i m regular visitor and most of the people knows me atleast by my face....


However you are not a regular in these bars...so you can try these..but be prepared for girls messages and call afterwards...because if your bill is northward to 40k ...than most of the bars pay to the girls once they receive credit in their account.

Lot of interesting posts on credit cards and disputes. Here is few more for your consideration..

Please note, got nothing to do with mongering so my usual statutory warning holds good for this as well !!

The dispute and chargeback is one of the most regulated and highly controlled process in payment card industry, for the simple reason of the potential fraud !! The laws of disputes and chargebacks is not governed by credit card company or merchants but by network/ settlement processors.. i.e. MasterCard, Visa, Amex and for those in US who have Discover cards. So the process is standard across all issuers and merchant acquirers and merchants..

When a transaction is disputed by a customer to the card issuing bank, the bank takes it to network provider (say mastercard), who will then take it with merchant acquirer. The merchant acquirer is typically another bank who holds merchant account or who has provided the POS to the merchant. The acquirer then takes it with merchant !!

So given the parties involved , it is not a simple process and it will be vigorous checks done depending on the money..

The general principle is, if the card is chip and pin, but merchant bypasses it and takes signature, then in case of dispute the responsibility of chargeback lies with the merchant. They take the risk

If the card is chip and pin and a valid pin is used to authorise, then the card company has the responsibility to provide all the info. So in the example provided, it will be card company of CP who is responsible to prove it is a fraud out of lost/ stolen card.

Given that it has happened in India with a US issued card, they will go to the extent of verifying passport entries etc. , Again depends on the amount involved.

In India, RBI has mandated that all cards issued after Jan 2016 has to be chip and pin and any transaction after 31st Dec 2018 has to be pin authorised. If an transaction after this date is not pin authorised, then the dispute ownership will be with merchant and they tend to lose.

If there are any issuers in India still provide signature based cards, then in dispute they are liable. I don't think there is any issuer in india who has non chip and pin card in circulation.

In US , it is still not a banking law yet and therefore lot of non pin cards are still active. That is the reason why most stores in US still have signature pads. If you use these type of non pin cards in India, 99.99% of merchants will decline or or not accept it, due to the reason mentioned above. Merchant takes the risk of dispute settlement..

On the 2.5% transaction fee, there is concept called interchange fee. This is the fee that the network providers charge the merchant for providing the infrastructure.. ie.e, when you buy a good for say Rs 100 using a card, at authorisation, the merchant POS will send it to acquirer, who will send it to network, who will send it to issuer who will then check if you have balance, card is good etc. and then sends approval message back to merchant in same route. All happens in milliseconds !!

On settlement, merchant will send end of day report to acquirer, who will consolidate for a network (all MC to MC, all Visa to Visa etc) and send it to them.. Processors will then send final bill to an issuer.. when Settling, the issuer will only send 99.50 to network, who will then send only 99 to acquirer who will then send only 98.50 to merchant.

When the customer receives statement, they pay 100 to their issuing bank. So the bank has made 1 RS for providing credit to the customer. 50 paise by MasterCard or Visa or discover and 50 paise by acquirer who provided the POS to merchant. This is interchange fee. In most countries where cash transactions are very low and cashless is very high, the merchant who expects to sell a good for 98.5 automatically marks up to 100. So he is not at a loss.if a customer makes cash payment, he is actually make 1.50 more profit !!!

In India , since cash is king, merchants still sell (or atleast we think) for 98.50, so when credit card is used , they eventually get only , say 97, so at loss !! That's why most merchant charge 2.5% more.

But Basel II and PSD I regulations have greatly reduced the interchange fee that networks can charge , which I think is now 0% for debit cards and 0.1% for credit cards.. so there should be no 2.5 surcharge, but merchants in India use this as another money making enterprise!!

Lastly, most issuers treat casino transactions as cash advance, so there will be can advance fee and you will start paying interest from that day onwards as there is no grace period like it is for purchases. So anyone on las Vegas trip, use debit cards !! Not applicable for DBs as they still register as restaurants, but since they are giving cash immediately which they get settled only end of the month from. acquirer, they would want to charge interest !!

And finally (since I already used lastly), please take into account Anglos warning about using CC in bars. Not from fraud, but leaving a paper trail that can cause domestic issues !!

Most bars have strange names (like A ONE restaurant for Malvan Kinara, Shayadri restaurant by guruprasad in Chembur), but when your wife sees the amount , it will not go well !!

Not really a FR:

I have been out at various DBs and OBs over the last week, but none of them were “new to me”, hence the lack of FRs.

I visited Cabana OB, StarNight DB and OB, Icon OB, Ramesh and Rasna over the last week.

Met a couple of very sweet girls at Ramesh. Spent the entire day with one of them when the bars were closed for Ganpati visarjan. Very nice chick - totally Girlfriend Experience.

Noticed a lot of new stock in Rasna. A majority of the girls I have spent time with between March - July are gone. My favorite is still there... meeting her Monday (today ) outside the bar.

I did something different on this trip to Mumbai - exchanged numbers with 7 girls from different bars and got promptly sucked into a ton of bar chick drama. If I were a newbie, these girls would have ruined me emotionally by now. Fortunately I am pretty much immune to emotional drama even in real life.

i always put myself and my enjoyment first, while being respectful with the girls, so I am enjoying these games.

1. There is this lovely Rajasthani chick in Cabana OB who is a fabulous dancer. She can dance and lip sync on any conceivable danceable Bollywood song. I get her to dance on at least 10 songs on every visit to Cabana (3 visits last week). So she asked for my number directly a couple of days ago and after messaging me some compliments, stated that I should pay her at least 3k per song. According to her 1k pr song is too less considering that she is the best dancer at Cabana. Oh well, She is going to find out that girls with bad attitudes don’t make money for long. Anjali in Cabana OB is an example of that. She was one of the most popular dancers 6 months ago. Now she is lucky to make even 1k in tips per night.
2. On my first visit to StarNight OB, I met this very young chick from Delhi. It was her first week there. Got her to dance on 10 songs. At the end of the night, she came up to me and said “Sair karwa do”. I asked her “when do you want to go?”. She said right now. She gave me her number and asked me to call her after leaving the bar (it was past 2am). While leaving the bar, I noticed one of the Captains (Mukesh) talking to her. Then she disappeared. We reconnected on WhatsApp an hour later. She apologized saying that the bar doesn’t allow her to meet customers outside, which sounds like BS to me. Then she said she will make an exception for me and quoted 15k to go out with me.I politely declined. I ignored her on my next 2 visits, getting a total of at least 20 dances per visit from other girls. This chick had been messaging me on WhatsApp everyday. On Ganpati Visarjan day, when the bar was closed, she messaged me that she was willing to go out with me for 5k because she needed the money... “khaane ke bhi paise nahi hai”. I already had setup a date with a really sweet girl from Ramesh, so refused this StarNight chick. I blocked her number 2 days ago. I ignored her in StarNight OB on Saturday night , so after about 15 minutes she walked up to me uninvited and apologized again and sweetly implored me - “dance karwao na”. She then asked me to unlock my phone, took it from me and unblocked her number on my phone. I asked her to dance on a few songs while enjoying other girls dances as well. At the end of the night, she walked up to me, gave me a tight hug and a kiss on both cheeks. This game is getting fun now.
3. The Captain in StarNight DB (Mukesh) cock-blocked me on another instance. I met this lovely young Rajasthani chick who is very beautiful, friendly and a decent dancer. This was during DB hours. I paid her 200 per song initially and then eventually 500 per song after she put on a few fabulous performances. She ended up asking for my number. I said I will give you my number only if you go out with me. She said yes. I asked when can she come out - she said immediately after her shift at 10:30pm. I was pretty excited with the thought of banging this hottie, so I went to the restroom and popped a Sildenafil tablet. When I returned to the table, I saw the Captain Mukesh talking to this chick. She came over to my table and said she has been asked to work the OB shift and will not be able to go out tonight. Huge KLPD. I gave Mukesh an earful and stormed out. He followed me almost to the street trying to convince me to stay for the OB. Anyway, this girl has been messaging me every day since that incident on WhatsApp. I chat with her, but have not tipped her a single paisa on my visits to StarNight after that incident. I still go to that bar because I like interacting with some of the hotties there.
4. There is another eye-candy non-dancer in StarNight DB who resembles a popular bollywood actress (MM has mentioned her in his posts in the past). So I sat and chatted with her in the DB last week and we really hit it off. Besides telling me her life story, she explained how the bargirl’s financial arrangement works with the management. She also told me stories of what happens in the dressing room in the back, described all the cat fights between girls over customers, drugs abuse, jealousy, girls going out with customers to make more money etc We started chatting on WhatsApp everyday. She made it clear upfront that she does not sleep with customers. She was willing to go out on a date as long as there was no sex involved. Of course I declined to go out on those terms, but continued chatting with her. She messaged me on Saturday that she needs money for her trip to Delhi. She asked me if we could meet outside. All plans were set, but right before I was going to book a hotel room, she messaged me asking me to meet at Magnet OB instead - “VIP mein baithenge”. It turns out she works at Magnet OB after her DB shift at StarNight. I politely declined - everyone knows there is no sex in the VIP room. She still wants to meet me on my next visit to India.

I am guessing that the new girls under contract with the OB may not have the freedom to go out with customers without consulting the bar management first.
In any case, there is a lot of drama involved with these girls, particularly the OB girls. The scary part is that I am beginning to enjoy this shit.

Sometime last year I went to Sai Pooja when LE activity was very high and bars were closing by 9.30.. The manager in ground floor used to flash a light bulb in first floor every time a new guy came to bar.. and couple of girls looked at me and laughed everytime lights was on.. I was intrigued and called a girl and asked why they laugh.. she said "nothing, just having fun".. gave her 100 and said if she tells the truth will give 100 more..it so happened that I was seated in a table just under the light bulb and whenever it went on, my bald head shone and reflected making the girls laugh.. If you can rape someone just by eyes, these two will be permanently pregnant with the way I look at them.. really not my fault, both were ex air hostesses and always comes in saree draped in a way that shows enough to make you literally drool.. yes, even at my age !!

It is sad you have not come across older gentlemen in NM bars.. the few I know and monger with are , by forum standards older, but some of the nicest and gentler souls you would find.. I am sure you will find someone soon (me?!!)

I keep my CC in Bill folder and write my card pine code number back side of bill with total bill amount with tips to waiters.
So waiter goes alone to swape at Bill counter and gives back my CC at my table.

MP bhai, I wish I can read others mind, particularly DB girls. Not that I am expecting mind voice like "apna Hritik Roshan agaya, I am getting wet already ".. it will be more like "khuda Allah, aaj ka bhakra agaya, can make X amount".. all I am interested to know is the X so that I can stay within it !! Unfortunately, I am a very bad poker player !!

Sometime last year I went to Sai Pooja when LE activity was very high and bars were closing by 9.30.. The manager in ground floor used to flash a light bulb in first floor every time a new guy came to bar.. and couple of girls looked at me and laughed everytime lights was on.. I was intrigued and called a girl and asked why they laugh.. she said "nothing, just having fun".. gave her 100 and said if she tells the truth will give 100 more..it so happened that I was seated in a table just under the light bulb and whenever it went on, my bald head shone and reflected making the girls laugh.. I did give her the promised 100 and changed seats.. so I warn girls to wear dark glasses if the lights are bright !! So next time (probably November end) if you see such a character, please do say hello. Most mongers usually run away after seeing the antics I do.. so you need special shamelessness to be seen with me !!! Few mongers who stick with me are equally shameless like me !!

My birth age is given from my handle name. So I am way above the Budda limit as given in this forum !
With the way I behave at home, my wife considers my mental age is of a teenager..
I recently tried a 10K run in my city and based on the time I finished, my daughter considers me a geriatric.
One spa girl, looking at my dick size, thought that my age is preteen !! It was in Royal lemon spa in Chembur few years ago. I was a regular at that time and used to visit one therapist..one time she requested to be joined by her cousin who did not have any customer that week. Asked me to pay only half for 4 hand..

when her cousin came and lowered my dispo immediately told the other one, in her native tongue, 4 hand massage? Even 4 fingers is too much for this !! This is the size of my son's !! She did not realise I understood the language !!

They did give a good service and once finished I asked her in her native tongue what her son's age is.. Never seen anyone in such a shock! She was extremely embarassed and never told her son's age. I am guessing pre-teen !!

So, there you go, I am known to be of many ages !! As for mongering, expecting to be in the picture for another few years !!

Decency is very subjective bhai.. if you ask my office receptionist or my MDs secretary, I would be the most indecent guy !! If you can rape someone just by eyes, these two will be permanently pregnant with the way I look at them.. really not my fault, both were ex air hostesses and always comes in saree draped in a way that shows enough to make you literally drool.. yes, even at my age !!

It is sad you have not come across older gentlemen in NM bars.. the few I know and monger with are , by forum standards older, but some of the nicest and gentler souls you would find.. I am sure you will find someone soon (me?!!)

If the card is chip and pin and a valid pin is used to authorise, then the card company has the responsibility to provide all the info. So in the example provided, it will be card company of CP who is responsible to prove it is a fraud out of lost/ stolen card.

In US , it is still not a banking law yet and therefore lot of non pin cards are still active. That is the reason why most stores in US still have signature pads. If you use these type of non pin cards in India, 99.99% of merchants will decline or or not accept it, due to the reason mentioned above. Merchant takes the risk of dispute settlement..

Awesome explanation bhai.

My CC don’t have pins. Only Debit cards do. So the example you mentioned isn’t correct. The correct example is the card has a chip and no pin, and no pin is used. Here, if they don’t ask for signature it becomes merchants liability. I see merchant at risk.

Also, like you said: 99.99% merchants will decline in above scenario. If they do, the challenge becomes null/void.
