Chair Question for UK members

Ive been reading the threads about which chair is best but of course coz I am in the UK there are quite a few stores/manufacturers that arent represented over here. And needless to say poseforum.xxxe from the US would be ridiculous.

I am looking for a portable chair that is not top of the range but that wont fall apart on me and is suitable for a shortass of 5 feet. Of course adjustability is on the priority list too.

Ive tried this question on another forum but kept getting recommendations of chairs well outside my budget. So apologies for the cross post

I saw the prior post you made in our forum (which you have since deleted) about a particular chair, and although I don't have any experience with that chair, I hope this forum will at least give you a good amount of varying opinions on a number of chairs.

If you decide to purchase a bargain chair, would you take the time to add your comments about it in this thread for other people to see in the future? It doesn't matter if you are in the UK or not either. Any chair reviews are welcome!

As for US recommendations, and poseforum.xxxe. Possibly, since the US brands aren't represented in the UK, you could talk them into free S&H. It seems like everyone is looking to make a sale these days. I would at least contact the ones you are interested in and see. E-mail has done the world wonders in connecting so, you have a free way to ask too!

I'll keep an eye out for UK chairs and post any links I can find.

When I moved to the UK I was shocked to see that so few choices when it came to purchasing massage equipment. I had an Oakworks Wellspring table and an Earthlite Avilla chair in the States. I really regret selling them before I moved here. I should've just shipped them. I miss my Oakworks table so much. I haven't bought a massage chair here, so I can't really help you make a decision.

Yeah lovely I know what you mean thats why I am struggling to chose and the only place locally that I can walk into and look at chairs only stocks the Affinity Puma which means I will probably have to go online as I have had a massage on an Affinity Puma and I know what its like

Check out the German site Bodynova (http://www.bodynova.de/shop/). I recently purchased a Taoline "Vital" Massage Chair from them and am pleased with the product, price, and the service I received. Delivery (to the Czech Republic) was prompt (and only 30 Euros) and their English speaking staff (website also has an English option) were friendly and helpful. I opted for the low-end model but they also offer the Oakworks Pro model as well as a wide range of other bodywork products.

The Oakworks Pro is an excellent massage chair, possibly the best I have ever used. Adjusts a bit different from other chairs, but very comfy, heavy duty, and has wheels for easy transport, even while in its case. In your position, that is the chair I would choose.

Thanks Giri for the details of this company. Although I don't have the funds at the moment I do have my heart set on an Oakworks Pro chair. It looks like it might be cheaper to buy it from this company rather than a UK stockist that I know of.
