Isn't it so easy to just make up & report $5,000 of some kind of self emploed income in 2019 to qualify your $8000 this year!
i am self employed & though I made more than the $5k last year. I am getting reduced income in the past few weeks, but I don't think I qualify as CRA wording seems to indicate that you need to have received NO income in those weeks.

The government already has your t4 if you have one. Don't worry about filing an incorrect return... the government will correct it. Those online filing programs are simple to use

how about the 75% wage subsidy and a 25% top up. This is for businesses to claim. The business has to show declining sales and max out in the mid $50.
It may be that you don't qualify for help ghis month but you may be eligible for the april/may.
I don't qualify for either benefit but if things change, I am ready to apply

Wage subsidy is for businesses paying between $50,000 to $1,000,000 in payroll a year, and need to operate during the Pandemic. Most small Whorehouses raved about on this board will not quality Baby.
