It depends on what you want to pay. The easiest and most expensive route is to call an escort agency. The most common route mongers take is to find a bar girl. I've had better luck in the smaller bars (like BT or LC) than in the AB or CC. (Although finding a second tier chica for a TLN in AB or CC is very doable.) Expect to pay $150+ for a TLN with a bar girl. (Personally for a TLN I'd use a hotel like La Mansion or El Parador that is located outside the ZN.)

This reminds me of a night I'll never forget--for two different reasons. One is a chica who had the most unique and graceful way of haggling I've ever witnessed. (The other all should be able to intuit without further explanation.)

I'd just finished eating at La Coasta with a very pretty chica who I've seen often over the years. (She's not a Zona girl.) We were walking towards Revolucion in search of a cab to take us to my place for the night. For some now forgotten reason she wanted a barrel bag, blanket, and I can't remember what else. So we went to a place near the MexiCoach station on Revolucion to buy them.

When the clerk quote the price she stood on her toes, did a 180 degree about face, and then started walking away. She'd danced in a baile folklorical and she moved so beautifully and gracefully I'll never forget it. As she walked away she looked like a model on a catway. The clerk started calling out (lower) prices as she was walking away. When the clerk lowered the price to what my friend was willing to pay she did another very graceful about face and then returned to purchase the stuff. Without uttering a word she she got the price she wanted and I'll never forget how gracefully it was done. (Nor, for that matter, is it likely I'll forget what happened the rest of that night for a reason which, as I say, all should be able to intuit!)

A good evaluation of how things work.

Personally, I'm looking for fair prices--and gfe sessions. Seeing how low I can get to chica to go doesn't interested me. I'm more interested in haggling over time and services than price. If a chica "highballs me" I bargain her down to the standard price; if she asks the going rate I'll probably pay it if the "services included" are to my liking.

Your post shows why guys say $60.00 is the going rate. While it was (and still is) possible to obtain discounts, IMHO $60.00 has been the going rate for years.

I think you're making too big a deal over ten bucks. I, for one, am not willing to walk away over ten bucks. (If money is that tight then I suggest buying fewer fichas or switching to street girls.)

It depends on where in TJ you want to stay. A good high end place is Pueblo Amigo located near the border. Downtown there is Villa Zaragosa. In the Zona Hotel Santiago or Leva are the best. There are no upscale hotels in the Zona, only so-so places downtown, and most Zona palces aren't much.

Remember, however, bar girls have to go to the hotel used by their bar while working or you'll pay a bar fine. (Street girls also "belong" to certain hotels.) So unless you are meeting a chica when she's off duty (for say a TLN) the choice of hotels is determined by where she works.

PLEASE do not accept or publish $60 as the going rate! It isn't, unless we all accept it and pay it. $50 has been the standard, though if you ask the girl her price, she always starts at $60... So, I stopped asking, and tell them my price up front. Not long ago, I would sometimes even get them at $40. Yes, that was more difficult, but possible depending on day/time. In the past year, that has gotten nearly impossible, and now I've even gotten resistance for $50. If they will not accept $50, I walk away regardless of what she looks like. There are still plenty more, and I hope you all will refuse paying $60 also. There are still plenty that take $50, and they are often have a better attitude anyway..

Considering access to TJ from USA doesn't cost an arm and a leg, like Asia or South America. Overall you get a much better value. I've been to Thailand and the girls in TJ are just as hot, the girls on the streets are way hotter then the girls in the beerbars. Most ppl are mongering and that is the main point and you never have to worry about getting aids in TJ like you would in Asia or South America. Adelitas definitely has some lookers and for $60.00 it's the best deal. The street girls always push up the price to at least $30.00. I just don't see how anyone could complain about this place unless you want LT. I don't know about most, but I don't need LT. Sure you'll pay about the same for a looker LT in Thailand, but don't forget to add the airfare and 16 hours from LA one way!! TJ also has great cheap food and rooms for the night, as well as regular dance bars and sports book. Only thing I would suggest is to stay out of the go go bars. They are a total ripoff from everyone I've talked too. Another big plus, most of these girls are NOT hard as the Asian women, at least I've never heard of anyone having anything stolen from them or drugged. This is common from time to time in Asia, plus there are all kinds of Katoeys running around trying to rob and beat you in Thailand.
