A real downer

It looked like time was permitting for my first visit to SRM today and so I booked Sophie last week. I was out of town for a few days and upon returning confirmed my appointment yesterday.

Today I was busy all morning with no chance to confirm again but never considered there might be a problem. After arriving at SRM, for my first visit, I found I was 15 minutes early but thought hey I can sit and relax for a few or be shown to one of the rooms and get ready.

After saying who I was and who I was to see, there was a moment of hesitation then "I'm sorry Sophie went home sick." "Oh no!"

I thought first how terrible for Sophie, then I thought how terrible for me. It was only about an hour to get there to find this out, and I thought who else could I want to see after driving out here, there are a bunch of women who have been reviewed here. But unfortunately all I could think was I have been thinking of seeing Sophie and whoever else is available just is not going to be the same.

So I said no thank you and departed. I was offered to book for another time but this is not next door and I have a very full work schedule for the next little while so finding about a 3 hour window is not easy.

I only hope that Sophie is feeling better soon as I am sure there others who were also sorry to hear she was not well. When I might be out that way again, I have no idea but as you can imagine, this was a downer for me.

Note to self, check before going on a drive like this as stuff happens.

Sorry I can't report much else other than the receptionist did look cute. And I don't like speed bumps in parking lots.

That's a nasty break, VET. I'm booked to see Sophie tomorrow - I've never seen her, and have always wanted to- but the receptionist told me today that she was feeling sick today and that I should call and confirm before I came out tomorrow. I guess it just goes to show, you have to be flexible about who you see. I always think of myself as a client of the spa, and not of a particular lady. But then SRM has so many nice ladies to pick from, I'm sure tomorrow will be great whomever I see.

Definitely call ahead next time. It's the smart thing to do. But why not try out one of the other girls? SRM is a reputable MP so chances were that you would have had a nice experience. Sometimes those unscheduled walk-ins can be some of the best surprises.

Well I did see Sophie yesterday, and she seemed all recovered. (There's no need to add any more coveregae of this wonderful lady, it's all been said). But War Axe is right: even if your booked MPA is away, there is always another lady. I've had good times with girls who have been consistently panned on this board, and the opposite as well. You just never know, and it's all useful experience, whether good or bad. (Just my point of view)

about seeing others but none of the names rang the bell. As it turned out I had my hands full with something else only a short time later. So in a way it was a good thing I didn't see Sophie, (can't believe I said that). One of these days I hope to, I'm over it now.
