Interesting post guys, Thanks. With Amigomio bringing in his mexican perspective and "insider" knowledge it gives a new dimension of understanding. I appreciate Sampsons and Fireballs posts as always too.

Another point I may add, the BGs may or may not make more money than SGs. SGs have more volume turnaround I think. I am excluding Adelitas from this comparison as Adelitas is more of a high class SG enviornment packed in a bar. I wouldnt even call Adelita a bar, its more like a fix up/rendezvous place.
For comparison Miami, Tropical or HK with SG. I would say the girls in these bars have option of making money on Fichas which the SGs dont. The advaneforum.xxxe of SG is more quick on the job in a short time frame. I would think a good BG with ficha fucking skills would make more money than a average SG, and a good looking SG would make more money than an average on the bench type BG ! Hope I am not rambling here after a tequila.....

This is an interesting topic. Why streetgirls and bargirls work in separate roles. I would think that the SG would desire to be a BG because they would have the chance on making more money. I think... I don't know how much of that 60 dollars you pay to the BG goes to the bar and the rest to her. But I am guessing that BG's can make more money.

So, I am thinking that the SG either cannot work in a bar, or is forced to work only on the street or something else. Because I am guessing that the SG knows that she can make more money in the bar but she cannot, but maybe she is free to work at both places.

I would see the SG's and yes, some are not going to win any beauty contests but I have seen some knock out beautiful ones. In terms of attidude, I have experienced a " hurry up and get this over with " type and the GFE type. However, I have not been with alot of SG, only about 10 all together, but I would say 3 of them were horrible ( in terms of attidude ) 4 of them were very pleasant and the other 3 were mediocre.

I was just reading Sampsons post, and he is right in a way... SG are controlled by someone, that is for sure. But not in the sense that each and everyone of them has a padrote waiting at home for the money.
But he is right, SG have a controller... much better word.
And yes, there is a caste system going on.
Just look at the girls that work at club girls like P&B (I have seen pics), look at the girls that do AB, the door girls and the SW... Me, I can see the diferences.
For you Americans, I know it's hard to see it. I have talked to many guys from the States and I have tried to show them the diferences... face lines, body language, skin pigmentation, manner of speaking, specially where they live (their home, how they live in it)...

Oh their is a class system all right...the massage girls, think they are better than the bar girls, and the bar girls think they are better than the street girls...I don't buy into it myself but I have had the conversation where this line of thinking comes into play.

I like how Amigomio says there is a prostitute caste system going on in Mexico. It could very well be the case? I know sometimes I take a very beautiful bar girl from the Hong Kong bar to the hotel down the alley and we have to past many SGs, who just stop and stare at the BG princess in envy, and you can see the BG looking at the lowly SGs from the corner of her eyes. You could just feel the tension sometimes between the different caste systems at work. However, I admit it can be the other way around, sometimes, I or another mongers are walking overweight, and aged BGs past the young, beautiful, and hot SGs, and they seems to just be shaking their heads, as if asking themselves what's he doing with that?

Lets say for the moment Sampson is right, and most of these SGs are controlled by a brain washing Padrote. Could that be the reason why so many SGs perform the sexual act so poorly, because they are forced to have sex?

What does this say to the mongers who do SGs almost exclusively aren't they indirectly helping the trafficking and sexual slavery business by giving these young SGs money who in turn give it to their Padrote?

Just for the record I don't believe Sampson is right, or rather not to the extent he claims that Padrotes control 90% of all SGs, and many SGs do perform very well sexually. Personally, I don't know how many times an SG saved the day for me, when I had a bad experience with an BG, however, many SGs out there are just plain terriible, but you can't beat their prices.

I can assure you there are plenty of street girls that are very attractive. There are lots of bar girls that in the light, look 10-15 years older than they do in the bar.

Most street girls do not choose to work the street, but are required to by their padrotes. Many padrotes do not want their girls in the clubs as their is too much male influence from the doorman, meseros, dj's and finally the manager. They feel like they have more control over the chicas if they are on the street.

In most cases these chicas are drunk in love with their padrotes, and in turn they may not give the best service. They save their kisses and positions for their love interest, and just go through the motions for their clients. The padrote can even sell that to the girl...such as you are just trick fucking these guys with condoms and making love to me when you get home.

There are of course exceptions to this.

Iam going to tell you as a Mexican that see differences in girls you guys don't see.
...and please, for those of you that like the street walkers and/or door girls, am just stating a fact.

Street walkers are not in the same league as club girls. They are of different levels within the prostitute caste... and sorry to tell you, but I know many see them as beautiful girls, but they are not.
No only to us, but to the same club girls, who on the spot can distinguish them.
I know this is not a rule, cause it must have tons of exceptions, but it's just plain "eye of the beholder" stuff.

Another fact is that Mexican SW just plain don't want to relate to their customers and they opt for the job that allows that.
They just want the quickie factor and that's it, no more.
Which is totally opposite to the girls at AB where at least there is small chat going around between girl and customer.

Some Street Girls do or have worked in the Bars too, but that's the exception not the rule. Some Street Girls, have also moved from the streets into the bars, but again not too many. I don't think many bar girls moved to the streets, unless they were SGs first, and didn't like the bars and went back into the streets working as SGs.

All girls if they work in the bars or the streets are suppose to have a health card, and be over 18 years old. So no the girls don't get tossed into the street if they can't get a health card.

How the girls become BGs or SGs is a matter of recruitment, word of mouth, and possibly trafficking from Southern Mexico.

Most people believe BGs are free lance workers who are brought to Tijuana from a newpaper add they saw, or word of mouth from a friend or family member who made lots of money in 'Tijuana.

Many people believe SGs are tricked into becoming SGs by Padrotes,( pimp like guys) who get close to the girls family or her promising her marriage and a rich life in the States, but then forced to become prostitutes on the streets of Tijuana, under threat of beating or telling the family what she is now doing for a living. ( I think to certain extent this goes on, but at some point these girls dump their Padrote, or they come of their own by word of mouth)

I was wondering if anyone can tell me why don't the steetwalkers in TJ work in the bars like AB or CC?

I was just curious, maybe they eventually do? Or is it because they are underage (which I doubt) or they don't pass the requirements that the bar impliments? I have been told some other theories but since I am on this board with very well known and experienced mongers for TJ, I just thought I would like to ask this question.

I tried to research a little and I just came up with they do not pass the health requirements....I don't think that is the whole case however...
