Sorry about this thread morfing into so many unrelated side topics. However, you gotta try the pastries from the bakery that's inside the grocery store in the Google Map pic above. It's on the corner of Constitucion and Juarez. I always pick up a dozen things and share them with the girls I've recently had sessions with on my way back to the Alley. Other girls in the area always teasing my recently made friends saying things like "you better marry your boyfriend quick. He's got lots of pastries in that bag for other girls". It's amazing how much value a 30-cent piece of pastry gets.

In my free time I like talking to as many chicas as I can. I have a soft spot for these chicas but even this won't get in the way of my decision making. And please don't call me captain save a ho because I'm anything else but that. Anyhow I think some girls enjoy chatting even if they know you won't go upstairs with them.

I also like being outside. I love it. I know this could be looking for trouble but walking around La Coahuila is something I like doing in my trips. When the weather is right I feel so alive. No other way to describe it for me. Plus I wanna know and see what's going on. The downsides are the hustlers and crossing the streets. For some reason I don't like staying in the same bar where I just did the deed. I leave my mark and leave LOL! I have stayed but is hard to locate the chica who I had a few minutes ago. So I hangout at a different bar.

This is where it gets interesting and awesome for me. Don't get me wrong I like fucking and all but being at a bar, having a drink, a smoke, chatting with my buddies, listening to beautiful spanish music, and surrounded by chicas dressed very provocatively is one of the best experiences of my life. You see this kind of scenery in Mexican movies and I absolutely love watching these scenes. It just about brings a tear to my eye. For me this is La Vida, everything I do in La Coahuila.

I can never remember anyone thinking the bakery products are better in the US...not even the locals as I get requests to bring the higher quality American donuts home all the time. Classic example of we all have our own desires.

I like to drink with the chicas, and in the evenings I would go to Malquiereda and listen to the rock bands. I believe they have changed to Friday, Saturday, Sunday only, but that was great fun for me.

I also make lots of laps and people watch. I know a lot of folks down there and stop and chat often. I do not go until around 11pm however, so my agenda may be different.

Super intel, and you're right, this topic is worthy of it's own thread. For me, it's a 1-hour reload between first and second session. Then 3-hour reload between 2 and 3. Then it get's exponentially worse. I did 4-day/3-nights in September, and I couldn't even finish on the 4th morning.

Caliente and VivaMex both sound good. I'll research where and when to visit both of those places. That takes care of 2 reloads. I've aready purchaced the switch blade, fake Cubans, knock off viagra, fake rolex, leather boots, "Save Water-Drink Beer" T-Shirt, etc. from Avenida Revolucion.

My biggest problem is I really really really like drinking, and Adelitas, HK, Tropical are really fun for me. I know you can't splurge on both alcohol and sex, but I just can't control myself to stop drinking. TJ just has too many good things for my liking. Even the bakery products seem better than anything you can get state-side.

That's an excellent question! It deserves it's own thread, really.

Me, I tend to leave the Zona after my session. I hate staying in the Zona any longer than I have to in order to get my needs met. I don't want to drink there because it messes with my sexual performance. Plus, I don't want to have an endless array of waiters and desperate BGs constantly harassing me. I do enjoy one of the of the area taco stands but I prefer not to attempt a serious meal in one of the worst parts of a seedy (in part) place like TJ. And, I hate strip club shows. I can only tolerate them for 15 minutes before I get bored or sexually frustrated.

I prefer a break of at least a few hours between sex acts. Sometimes, I just want one quality call girl experience then I split town. Nothing better than a surgical strike in TJ.

Here are some ideas. This is not an exhaustive list. The proviso is do not leave Zona/Revolucion on your own and not in a safe taxi if you don't speak at least basic functional Spanish and don't stand out too much.

1) Go to Avenida Revolucion and window shop, if it is early. I have actually found some cool shit there. Cuban cigars, good booze cheap, prescription meds, even folk art and home furnishings.
2) Go out for a nice meal (by taxi). There are plenty of tasty restaurants not far from the Zona. Check other threads for details on where. Come back to the Zona an hour or two later recharged.
3) Go to Caliente and play the sports book or a few casino hands. I'm not a high roller but I may spend up to $100 that way. Sometimes it really pays off and I manage to finance the trip at the casino. If you have a gambling problem or don't like to gamble this is not for you. For me, at least, the gambling and whoring make it an even more cool trip.
4) (For the under 35 crowd) hit the non P4P clubs and try to score legitimate tail. A variety of both local and USA tail is in town at the clubs. That shit can work! It is cool to walk into a legit club full of drunk horny chicks with a bold sense of self-confidence because you know if you don't score you can go back to the Zona for a sure thing.
5) Go back Stateside, to eat, make phone calls, go to the outlet mall, make a run for condoms, or the all important ATM stop. This only works well during off hours where the border wait is less than 20 minutes.
6) Go to VivaMex for a legitimate massage. For under $50 you can have a very nice massage and an overall good legitimate spa experience. This is also a great stop when you are leaving TJ with the added bonus of being a great chance to shower and clean up before you head home (married or LTR guys understand this well).
7) Recon. If I do stay in the Zona I will go check out the off the beaten path clubs or clubs I don't frequent and survey the BGs/SGs about rates, sex acts, etc. I never order drinks or sit down in this mode. If I order anything it is bottled water. You won't have the waiter/BG issues if you slowly circulate in the room. Be friendly and ask her name first. A little small talk will really help in negotiations. In between clubs I chat up the SGs. I'm sure at least a few of the girls think I am demented because I have spoken to them a number of times but never "gone to the room" with them. Plus, it is a bit tiring to move around the Zona like a damned shark. But, I often find my best experiences through this method. If I discover a hot find but I am still in recovery mode I tell her what time I will come back for her, like in an hour or at 10 pm or whatever. It usually works out.

Thanks kittyfreak, lamalavita, Krappee. I kinda figured that place isn't the best bang for the buck. Also, it's important to know that the girls are just BG's from Mermaids and not semi-trained massage girls.

I don't mind some bad investment spending while the gun takes time to reload. When I spend too much time eating and drinking between sex, it takes a toll on this old body. I was figuring $30 for a rest hour with 2 naked girls might be a better way to rejuvenate than beer and tacos. Wasn't looking for release, but not interested in a clinical massage either. I'm planning 3-days in December, and for me, it's more important to budget my body strength than my funds.

Dirtemail, the pic and place you're talking about is Mermaids. A bar is located downstairs and the massage spot is directly above reached by the staircase adjacent to the entrance of the bar.

I have been to this place about 4 times. I have seen the lineup 4 times and participated only once. Basically, you go upstairs and the pimp tells you how it works. They pull the girls out of the downstairs bar and they line up. You get to pick 2 of the girls for the massage. In the room, they want to finish the massage as fast as possible and upsell you with the extras. Everything is a la carte menu. It's much cheaper simply to hire a girl from HK or AB and negotiate upfront because there is no room fee.

The massage is really subpar because they just want to sell you on the sex. I wrote an extensive review about this but I forgot where I posted it. My recommendation is the same as lamalavida, just negotiate with HK or AB girl. Skip Mermaids. The reason I skipped out of the lineup 3 times before was because the girls were average or whatevers. The only reason I tried it the 4th time was because the pimp told me that a certain girl was really good and I should not have listened to him.

I only went to an MP once in TJ. It was an interesting experience, and years ago. I hopped in a cab with a wingman and was taken to a house. Anyone have experience with the 2 for 1 Massage place next to Tropical on Calle Coahuila? There are always guys on both sides of the street trying to get people in there. They're offering 1-hour massage by 2 naked women of your choice for $30. I'm not a massage person, but this sounds like a pretty good deal to pass the time between more serious activities.

I would expect they would be upselling after you get in?
