So I just had a second hour long massage with Amy. I don’t think she gets enough credit for her excellent massage. She asked where I needed attention, and I said my upper back, neck area. I asked for some hard pressure.
Note - I prefer really hard massages. I generally don’t go for relaxation massages. Well, Amy has been learning a thing or two from Mia. When working the traps by my neck, Amy braces her running shoes against the wall, and pushes down about as hard as she can. She tells me to open my mouth and breath out and then pushes. Long, slow hard pressure. Six times per side. Not gonna lie, it hurt like a mofo.. mostly because I have a couple of deep knots in the area.
So that went on for all my muscles for an hour. The triceps and bicep knots are all worked out. Ngl I almost cried. But yeah. Totally worth it.
For guys that lift and you want a hard deep massage? Amy, and I presume Mia, are the way to go.
