Quite frankly I could never understand why one would pay more than something's worth. I can understand being generous and spending a little extra. But to splurge lacs is beyond my understanding.
I guess different people think differently.
I had read a book called The Psychology of Money a few years back. It makes a compelling case with a lot of examples of how it is one thing to get wealthy and a completely different game to stay wealthy.
I wonder if a few of these people would end up getting added as examples in later editions of the same book to prove the same point.
Or maybe there is deeper rooted psychological reason behind this.

I guess it's only for them to know and me to guess.

Bhai, I beg to differ on one count on SN gals.

They do not think S-T but L-T.
