Last time I checked, the U.S. has a population of 331 million and Canada by comparison only has 38 million. California alone has an estimated 39 million people. Take that into consideration before you take every number you see at face value. Yes many states have mishandled the pandemic and lives were lost but compare where they are now to where we are. The funny thing is, if we were to compare big states and their virus management, Florida has had more cases than New York but less deaths and more recoveries. They've been fully open since the fall while New York has imposed some of the most draconian restrictions. It's only recently that they've gradually reoepened because of the superb vaccine distribution in the states.

The US has a population of 320 million. Canada has 38 million. If you divide 320 by 38, you get 8.6. This means the US population is 8.6 times greater than Canada.

Total Covid19 deaths in the US is more than 564,000. Canada's total is 23,500. If you use the same formula as I used above, divide 564 by 23.5, equals 24.

This means US deaths is 24 times greater than Canada, whilst it's population is only 8.6 times greater. Put this into perspective by hypothetically raising Canada's population to US levels, by multiplying Canada's death figure by 8.6; and you would get 202,000 deaths. So, even if Canada's population equaled the US, the death figure in the US would still be 3 times greater than Canada.

So, I just proved you wrong again. How do you come up with false comments about the US doing ok so far with Covid19?
